Mr. Sekhawat was working on a file when his phone rang. It was Mrs. Sarala Devi his wife, her voice got choked when she said that Our daughter had topped the board exams.

Both of them know very well that their daughter is a very good scholar but never expected that she will be the topper of this district.

Both of them were very much happy. The news channel, Media requested them to give a newsbite on their daughter's success. They got fumble how to react.

Next day morning when Mr. Sekhawat entered the office his colleagues congratulated him and asked what he have planned next for his child.

Soon Puja(Mr. Sekhawat's daughter) got admission to a Residential College which was the best residential college in that city. Infrastructure, faculty, hostels, both teaching, and nonteaching staffs were quite cooperative. But Puja belongs to a middle-class family and her schooling was completed in her mother tongue and in state board, but most of the students of that college belong to a high standard family and they were from CBSE and ICSE board.

So she felt very inferior to herself.

She always has a conflict with her heart and mind, where her heart always says that you are the best among all, but her mind always demotivates her by saying... Are you that much capable to compete with these Ultra modern urban students? No doubt The result was clear of this conflict and the mind always wins.

She felt herself completely different from them. Their talking style, their outfits, hairstyle, was not as same as her. Those people also treat Puja as a Rural girl and used to call her as "Rural Mafu".They never miss a chance to comment Puja on her Oily hair, on her shoes, On her denims not only in the hostel room as well in college classes.

Puja was very sensitive to all these things. Day by day she became depressed and it was quite impossible to fight with her emotions to fight her surroundings to get out from that environment, to make herself strong enough to overcome from all these things. She can't understand that what matters more, those people show off or Puja's knowledge.

For her that was not a place to study but a jail and she was the prisoner. Where her parents invest their money.

She realising that her studies getting deteriorated, but how could she make her motivated. At that time Puja badly needed someone to share her problem she was needing a counselor who could help her to overcome from this situation.

As She was far away from her family and hardly get a chance once in a week to talk to her parents.

Every time she talked to her parents they suggest she concentrate on her studies, she have to top again.

But what about her, those surroundings, her life her mind that always insists you can't compete. When she entered to the class she feels like the walls, the tables, the chairs that whiteboard shouting on her that you are not eligible here. It's not your place.

The girl who never seat even on the second row in the classroom from past 10 years of her school, but here She never get the chance to seat in the first row of the class.

She was totally frustrated, ultimately her marks became very poor, and the college send messages about her poor performance in the midterm exam.

Her parents also never tried to understand her problem they also started scolding her that we are spending a huge amount of money on your studies.

Only for you we both are suffering from high blood pressure. We have lost our money and health as well,

but, Why don't you understand Puja?

What is your problem?

Don't you get sufficient food?

Don't have you enough books?

If yes,

then why this kinda performance?

After all you are a district level topper. We have expected much more from you.

Puja get puzzled. She didn't know how to answer her parents. How could she answer to all those questions of her parents?

Why she couldn't stand on their expectations?

For them if you have food to eat and books to study then no third thing required for a better performance.

But What about that 15 year teenage girl who has never spent a single day without her mother.

She needs her mother when she does her dishes, wash her clothes, comb her hair, wants some good dishes.

Here Puja was not blaming her parents at all, her parent's demand was totally fair. Her parents have also made huge sacrifices to fulfill her all required comfort to chase her dreams to Achieve her success.

But sometimes things were beyond our imagination and expectations, As parents, we can't ignore our child's mental health. We have to watch all pros and cons.

Depression is the most dangerous if one ever realized, it's just like watching people around you breathing but instead. Puja felt suffocated but never knows to breathe.
