The Spectral Symphony

Jonathan stopped his motorbike in front of an old and dilapidated building. A gaunt skinny old man with tattered clothes came towards him, "don't go inside the building, sir," he whispered, "it is menacing". The voice of the old man was a bit gloomy and it carried a weight of regret and sorrow.

 Jonathan was flabbergasted by that. It was for the first time he had seen such a demolished building and it was also his first time in that town. He had joined a new office in that town so it was his first day and he was pretty excited from the morning.

The sudden rain had ruined everything. For the shower, he had to stop his motorbike in front of that building and had to take shelter. The building looked like a school. He was about to enter it when the old man stopped him from going inside. He whispered, "Don't go inside my young man, it is dangerous".

Jonathan was curious. He thought maybe the man was warning him about the injuries that he could get from the wreckage but was surprised to hear a very eerie story from the old man about the ruined building. The man stated that the building was a music school and was opened 50 years back during the civil war. Its main motive was to bring peace through music. Many students across the globe joined the school but one day a miserable thing happened, a few felons came inside the building and mercilessly killed some students. The attack was however stopped by the cops but a huge amount of damage had already been caused. The music school didn't run for many days after that. It ceased due to some paranormal activities and financial problems. 

Although after hearing the story, Jonathan was not convinced that the building was haunted yet the old man repeatedly warned him from entering the building. The old man left after the conversation and disappeared into the street.

Jonathan was all alone in the street getting drenched because of the heavy shower. He looked back, and turned around, but did not find a single pedestrian on the street, nor did he notice a proper shelter other than that building.

He slowly went inside the building, with a non-imaginative mind. Although the place was full of dust and spider webs, Jonathan found nothing paranormal about it.

He had no intention of exploring the place but the story told by the man got lined up in his mind. He first went to the first floor where he found nothing paranormal. But when he entered the room on the second floor, he was shocked to see some of the musical instruments intact.

Jonathan wondered, "How can these instruments be in such good condition, these are so old and are also not used by anyone for such a long time ".

 He thought of touching the bagpiper when an eerie feeling came to his mind. His hands suddenly became pale and cold and he experienced goosebumps.

This was quite unusual and shocking since the rooms were all locked. He thought of leaving the room when the door of that musical room locked automatically at that very moment and a piece of melancholy music got played on the grand piano.

Jonathan was horrified by that sight. He thought that it was some sort of hallucination but then to his bewilderment, he saw some musicians playing those instruments, and the most shocking part of it was that the musicians were all bones. He also noticed a man in an old attire approaching him and appallingly his face was half bone and skin.

 Jonathan couldn't control himself, he fainted at that petrifying sight. Then after an hour, he recovered. It was 5o' clock on his watch and he was lying near the entrance door fully wet.

 He had missed that day's office and it was already time to return home. All the events flashed in Jonathan's thoughts for a moment and he again experienced horripilation.

It was a terrifying incident and Jonathan still believed that it was just a delusion and tried to calm himself by saying that he had not entered that building. He got up on the motorbike and went towards his home.

 It was a very mysterious incident, and he could never figure out the real mystery behind it.
