The Selfless Mother

Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful hard working woman Bina with her husband, her 17-year-old daughter & her 11-year-old son. This woman was a hardworking doctor, wife, housewife as well as a mother to two kids. Bina's daughter was very studious & she scored the highest in every exam, she was also the topper in 10th grade. Bina's daughter could paint, dance, good in sports, etc. She was a good-mannered &sweet girl but all that she hated was to do household chores, & help her mom in cooking food. Bina used to tell her daughter many times that "dear, now, you're going to be an adult, you're growing up, you must learn some basic cooking at least, you should learn how to clean the house, to wash utensils, just basic things, just because I want that my daughter should be independent & do things on her own without anyone's help." But the girl was lazy for these things, she just didn't like that work & she just used to politely refuse her mom for this.

But Bina was sufficient on her own, she didn't need anyone's help. She was still capable & energetic enough to manage home & her clinic together along with her son's studies. But one day all of a sudden, Bina was just sitting on her chair in her clinic, when she tried standing up to leave the clinic, she got a severe backache, she couldn't stand on her own. her husband along with their 2 kids rushed to the clinic & somehow took Bina to a nearby hospital for a checkup. Doctors diagnosed Bina to have slip disc(a condition in which the backbone shifts a little bit from its original position). Bina's daughter was very sensitive, she was a girl with a fragile heart. As soon as she heard of her mom's problem, she began to cry. Bina was advised 2-week bedrest at home by the doctors. Bina was in pain but her prime tension was that how will the home be managed? how will I cook food? what will happen now?

But by God's grace, now was the time that Bina's daughter, gathered a lot of courage & assured her mom that she'll take care of the home, the food, etc. Bina was surprised to have heard this, but she was thankful to God that finally her daughter will learn all that she should've learnt long back.

So from next day, Bina's daughter woke up early in the morning, started washing utensils though she knew little of it she somehow washed those all. Next, she knew how to cook noodles at least & she did it for breakfast. She asked her mom for some recipes & rest she learnt from YouTube. She learnt how to broom the house, how to clean it, etc. on her own. This girl who was so lazy & hated all this, learnt difficult things, to cook meals, everything on her own. Yes, God did help her. It was all God's plan - Bina realised. This girl, realised, how just by doing all these things, by the end of the day, how her mom's thighs & hands must have ached because this girl was suffering the same pains.

But from now on, she decided that once Bina gets well, she'll help her in every work, she'll cook food on some days, she'll take care of her mom, she'll never again let her mom have a backache. And she did it. She became just like her mom. Bina thanked God for her daughter. Bina was just happy with pride.

A child is born & also along with a child, a mother is born. when the world is against you, only she's there with you selflessly in life's every situation however difficult it may be. only mom is the 1 who feeds food from 1 hand & slaps from another.she loves you unconditionally, she will love ou till her last breath no matter how much you hurt her. you can't repay how much she has done for you, but let's pledge today not just today but every day, we shall take care of mom just like she does, we shall give her all joys that she deserves, we shall enhance her wellbeing by never leaving her alone, we shall feed her with whatever we earn. Mothers carry you inside their womb for 9 months, they bear all the pain throughout their lives, be it your pains, your rude behaviour, etc. Value this rare human being who made you what you're today. You're lucky if you have a mom(most precious gift) imagine the condition of those who don't have one.she's the best source of love, happiness, nourishment, care, hope. cooking food for her, obeying her, loving her, respecting her, enjoying little moments with her are surely gonna make her happy.there's infinite love hidden behind her scoldings, be thankful to god for a mom. in this world of selfish people, only 1 person will always consider you theirs is your mom. Everything may change, but the mother will remain constant.
