THE LIVING DINOSAUR

In the South East Asia, Indonesia is located in between the Pacific and Indian Ocean. It is known as the world's largest archipelago. It's a place where a lot of small islands combined together and live as a single nation and Indonesia is considered as a country by combining 17,508 islands. From the west side of Indonesia, to the East side islands, there is approximately 5000 kilometers. In this 17,508 islands, many people didn't move to most of the islands. In that particular type of island, thousands of years ago, for the mistakes they had done, they have been deported to that island. Now 2000 of their generations are living there and all of them who are living there was sharing that island with a terrific predator.

The terrific predator which lives in that island, belongs to the direct generations of the dinosaurs. It is capable of growing up to 10 feet and has an aggressive hunting ability. It can sense the taste of prey's blood in the air from nine kilometers away. This creature can easily detect the smell of the blood and death. Suppose, if someone died in that island, in the buried place, they will make a huge barrier. Otherwise, that creatures will come out of the forest and dig that dead body out to eat it.

The bite of this creatures will be horrible. It can tear a human into two pieces with a single bite. It was that strong. But this creatures will not kill the prey immediately. Instead it will create a big wound by biting first. The poison will spread throughout that wound and it's prey will die soon. This creature doesn't need to kill it's prey by struggling it. In simple words, it will just bite you and leave.

After that you will die in 24 hours. Then it will come and eat you. Not only that, this creature will consume 80% food of it's body weight daily. If it's weight is 100 kg means, it should definitely take 80 kg of food daily. So it eats goat in high quantity, and that too fully in a single bite. If that goat didn't fit completely in it's mouth means, it will beat that goat in the tree and swallow it fully. If it's hunger is not satisfied by eating goats and cows, it will prey on it's own kind.

Cannibalism is very common among this creatures. It hides from everyone even from it's parents until it was for four. Because, if the bigger one of it's species saw it means, it will prey on it. It is a very dangerous animal. Above all this, it can climb a tree and run faster than human. It can swim too. And the name of that predator is, Komodo Dragon. That animal lives only in this island in Indonesia and the name of that island is Komodo Island.

A 31 year old Muhammad Anwar, was a fisherman who was born and raised in that island. In 2009, one day he decided to eat fruits. Usually he will eat the apples in front of his house. But that day he decided to eat the sugar apples on the Komodo Island. This is a place which is restricted for humans to go and it was surrounded with fence. Because inside it there is Komodo Dragons. So no one will go across the fence and they also won't come out of the fence.

But Muhammad Anwar was very sure to eat the sugar apples that day. Though he was born and raised there, he never ate those sugar apples. Don't know the reason, he decided to eat it that day. So he went and stood near the fence. He started to look around. He looked at the other side of the fence and, there was long grown grasses. The grasses were at the height of his chest. So he can't see what is there immediately. But he saw the sugar apple tree in a little distance.

After looking around and confirming nothing was there, he jumped across the fence and started running towards the sugar apple tree. Muhammad's neighbor Teresa, came out at that time, and saw Muhammad running towards the sugar apple tree across the fence. So she immediately ran there, and started shouting not to go there. But Muhammad couldn't hear it. So, she stood near the fence and started to look for Komodo Dragons.

But she couldn't see anything like that. So she turned her focus again to Muhammad. She thought that he should return safely. When she was looking like that, Muhammad who was on the Apple tree, was struggling to get his last apple. And when he tried to pluck his last apple, he suddenly slipped and fell off from the tree. Now Teresa couldn't see Muhammad. Because, the long grasses covered him. So Teresa doesn't know what happened to Muhammad.

Did he faint, or got injured and suffering from pain? Could he stand or not, nothing was known. When she was expecting for Muhammad to get up, Teresa heard some noise. When she was looking at the apple tree by standing near the fence, she saw the grasses was moving from far and that moving grasses headed towards the apple tree. She understood that it was Komodo Dragons. Muhammad was injured when he fell down, and blood came out of it, and it sensed the blood smell. So, it ran towards Muhammad.

Now all Teresa could do is, shouting for someone to help. But that dragons started to eat Muhammad. Authorities went there immediately. Before it completely swallowed Muhammad, they went and chased it. But when the authorities went there, Muhammad was already dead.

If you wish you can go to that Island as a tourist. They change thousand US dollars for that. But they will take you to limited places only. They will not even take you near the Komodo Dragons.
