ACT I
[Many years ago, there was a hospital near a village area. In this hospital, many dead bodies were brought and kept inside the morgue room. During nighttime, mysterious sounds, strange laughter, and footsteps could be heard outside the hospital as well as near the morgue room. Because of these terrifying incidents, many people from the village avoided going near the hospital or entering the morgue.]
SCENE I
[Two years later, there was a man named Raja and his wife named Pinky. Both of them had been living in the village for many years.]
[During nighttime]
Raja: Pinky, where are you?
Pinky: Raja, I am in the bedroom. I have some work to do.
Raja: When are you going to prepare dinner?
Pinky: Just wait for a second. I am coming.
Raja: Okay, come fast. I am very hungry.
Pinky: Okay, please wait, Raja.
[Few minutes later, Pinky comes downstairs to prepare dinner.]
Pinky: I am here, Raja.
Raja: Please make dinner quickly. I am very hungry.
Pinky: Okay, wait for five minutes.
SCENE II
[Pinky goes to the kitchen to prepare dinner. After a few minutes, she brings the food to the table.]
Pinky: Dinner is ready.
Raja: Good. Bring it fast, Pinky. I am very hungry.
Pinky: Now you can eat.
Raja: Pinky, today’s dinner is very tasty.
Pinky: Thank you.
Raja: I love you, Pinky.
Pinky: I love you too, Raja.
[After dinner, both of them spend romantic time together in the bedroom.]
ACT II
[Next morning]
SCENE I
Pinky: Wake up, Raja.
Raja: Please let me sleep, Pinky.
Pinky: You are getting late for work.
Raja: Just five more minutes.
[Then Raja wakes up from the bed and goes to the washroom.]
Pinky: Have you woken up, Raja?
Raja: Yes.
Pinky: Go to the washroom and freshen up. I prepared breakfast for you.
Raja: I am going.
Pinky: Okay.
[Raja comes out of the washroom.]
Pinky: Raja, have you completed freshening up?
Raja: Yes.
Pinky: Okay, come and sit. Breakfast is ready.
Raja: Okay.
Pinky: Raja, you are not earning enough money. How will we run this house with such a small salary?
Raja: Yes, you are right, Pinky.
Pinky: You should find a new job.
Raja: But where?
Pinky: I think you should work in the morgue room at the hospital near our village.
Raja: Okay, I will try.
SCENE II
[Pinky goes toward the kitchen. Raja catches her hand.]
Pinky: Raja, what are you doing?
Raja: I am kissing you, Pinky.
Pinky: Please, Raja, do not waste time.
Raja: So kissing is a waste of time?
Pinky: Not like that.
Raja: It has been a long time since I kissed you.
Pinky: First take the morgue job. Then we will enjoy together.
Raja: Sure.
[Then Raja leaves for the hospital.]
ACT III
[Raja reaches the hospital.]
SCENE I
Raja: Excuse me, sir.
Doctor: Yes?
Raja: Can I get a job here?
Doctor: There is no regular job available.
Raja: Sir, I can do any work.
Doctor: Okay. You can work in the morgue room and take care of dead bodies.
Raja: Okay, sir.
Doctor: You can join tomorrow.
Raja: Thank you, sir.
SCENE II
[Raja returns home happily.]
Pinky: Why are you so happy?
Raja: I got the job at the hospital morgue room.
Pinky: Really?
Raja: Yes. I have to work during nighttime.
Pinky: It is okay. A job is still a job.
[Both spend happy romantic time together.]
ACT IV
[Next morning]
SCENE I
Pinky: Good morning, Raja.
Raja: Good morning, Pinky.
Pinky: Yesterday we enjoyed a lot together.
Raja: Yes, I also enjoyed a lot last night.
Pinky: Go and freshen up. I will prepare breakfast.
Raja: Today is my first day at work. I am already late.
Pinky: Then go fast.
SCENE II
Raja: Pinky, bring breakfast.
Pinky: I am coming.
Pinky: Breakfast is ready.
Raja: Bring it quickly. I am very late.
Pinky: Eat slowly.
Raja: No, I am late.
[After breakfast, Raja leaves for work.]
Raja: Bye. I love you.
Pinky: I love you too.
ACT V
[Raja reaches the hospital.]
SCENE I
Doctor: Nurse, show Raja the morgue room.
Nurse: Please come with me.
[They enter the morgue room.]
Nurse: Your duty is to check the dead bodies and the records carefully.
Raja: Okay.
Nurse: All the best.
Raja: Thank you.
SCENE II
[Raja begins his work.]
Doctor: Remember, you must stay here during nighttime.
Raja: Sure, doctor.
[The doctor leaves.]
ACT VI
[Raja calls Pinky while working.]
SCENE I
Pinky: Hello.
Raja: Hello, Pinky.
Pinky: I miss you.
Raja: I also miss you, but I must work hard for our future.
Pinky: I love you so much.
Raja: I love you too.
SCENE II
[Raja suddenly hears mysterious sounds.]
Raja: What sound is that?
Nurse: Maybe it is just birds.
Raja: Maybe.
[The nurse leaves.]
ACT VII
[Raja becomes tired during night duty.]
SCENE I
[Raja sees a strange shadow.]
Raja: Who is there?
[Suddenly, a dead man appears.]
Dead Man: I am your death.
Raja: Please leave me.
Dead Man: I kill anyone who comes into this morgue room at night.
[The dead man attacks Raja and kills him.]
SCENE II
[Next morning]
Nurse: Doctor! Come quickly!
Doctor: What happened?
Nurse: Raja is dead!
Doctor: Oh no!
Nurse: Yesterday he heard strange sounds.
Doctor: Something evil is inside this morgue room.
ACT VIII
[Nighttime again.]
SCENE I
Doctor: Put Raja’s body inside the morgue box.
Nurse: Okay.
[Midnight. The nurse hears sounds.]
Nurse: What is that sound?
[She sees Raja’s spirit and the dead man.]
Nurse: Raja... are you alive?
Raja’s Spirit: No.
Dead Man: I killed Raja.
Nurse: Why?
Dead Man: I kill everyone who enters this room at night.
Raja’s Spirit: Be ready to die.
[Both spirits kill the nurse.]
SCENE II
[Next morning]
Doctor: What is happening?
[An old man enters.]
Old Man: A cursed spirit lives in this morgue room.
Doctor: How can we stop it?
Old Man: Burn the dead bodies immediately.
SCENE III
[Dead bodies are taken near the temple.]
Pinky: What happened?
Old Man: Your husband is dead.
Pinky: No!
Old Man: The dead spirit killed him.
SCENE IV
[Pinky cries beside Raja’s dead body.]
Pinky: I want to burn my husband’s body myself.
Old Man: Okay.
[Pinky kisses Raja for the last time. The dead bodies are burned near the temple.]
Old Man: Do not cry.
Pinky: I am alone now.
Old Man: Stay with me like my daughter.
Pinky: Okay.
[At the end, Pinky stays with the old man and keeps Raja’s photo frame on the wall.]
