The Great Unhappening

Once there was a farmer named Ramanyam heera. He was very depressed because his crops were on the verge of crop failure. He sat down on a rock and start thinking about what to do. Suddenly his eyes fell on something in the sky. It was like a ball of fire coming to the earth. He eagerly ran where it was falling. Then he saw something that he would never think of.

He saw a big spaceship on the ground. He went inside it and saw a creature with a big head and big black eyes as black as a truffle. “An alien!” he shouted and ran towards his farm like a typhoon. He hid behind his crops. Then he recalled the conversation between his son and him. His son said that if you serve an alien good, in return he will fulfill your wishes. Then he went again to the spaceship. When he went inside he saw the alien who was now conscious. Holding his breath, he went closer to the alien and asked him, “Where have you come from and what is your name?” the alien replied, “I am Juju and have come from krypton. I was with my crew. They were very bad. They exiled me from my planet and said never to come back” “Oh! What a pity. You can live with me the whole life and I will serve you good.”  “Thank you, my friend. I am very much obliged.”

After eating, the alien asked the farmer for a wish. “Oh! Not a big one. I want you to just save my crops and that’s it for the day.” Said the farmer. Then the alien pointed towards the crops and a beam of light came from his hands. Soon, the crops started glooming. “A miracle,” said the farmer with delight and now was as happy as a lark.

Day by day the farmer became greedy. Once he was walking through the forest to collect manure. He was obstructed by a big man. The farmer was so angry that he asked Juju to kill him but he didn’t. He was so forced by the farmer that he now agreed to do it. Then the farmer laughed his deadliest laugh and walked through the forest.

The next day he saw that the alien was not there. He searched for him till he went to the spaceship but he saw a piece of paper instead of an enormous spaceship. He picked it up and read the message that was :

Dear farmer,

I know you are now alone in the house. But you deserve it. How can a man who took care of me think about killing anyone? Now, I am not being lived with you anymore and am going to my planet as I have been called. So, be happy and hard working.

Juju

Then he cried and cried in the absence of the alien and perished then, and there.
