First scene

The Old Woman is baking a gingerbread man and when she takes him out of the oven, he runs away and the old woman screams for help from her husband and he goes and tries to catch the gingerbread man and so do the horse, cow, pig, and the dog tries to catch it.

Second scene

Gingerbread man is running till he reaches a river and meets a sly fox. The fox offered to take him across the river and the gingerbread man agreed and the fox waded into the river till the gingerbread man came to his nose and the fox ate him up. The end.

Rudra will wear a brown shirt and pants with white laces and red buttons

Jika will wear a gingham dress

Aditya will wear a long, checkered shirt with long trousers

Rhea will wear a brown jumpsuit with white laces and red buttons

 Hello to one and all! Today, we will present before you all, the adaptation of the gingerbread man! Look in! Once in the 20th century, it was a sunny morning and a woman’s husband was dozing and mumbling about bulldozers and whatnot. lazy music is playing. The wife screamed at her husband to get up-

There is noise from the cars outside the windows. Setting- House with bricks and near the countryside.

Gia- Husband, get up! Our children, niece, and nephew are coming today! I want to make a big gingerbread man for them. Will you help me? I need this and that and this and that. (Gia rattles off items of a long list) Here is the money for that. And I need it very fast, so please go on the scooter.

Aditya- (Yawns) Alright, dear. I am getting all of your items. I will go as fast as a tractor

Gia- Tractor! Gosh, you will go so slow! Go as fast as the internet! Yes, yes. Go on, get it. I need it in a hurry.

Forty minutes later-

Aditya- Here I am with the items you need. 

Gia- took you a long time too, eh? What happened to the scooter?

Aditya- There was too much traffic! (mumbles) And I was looking at some sites.

Gia- What?! I heard you! Gods of Olympus, you are mad over buildings. Fine, thank you.

Gia makes the gingerbread man and is taking it out of the oven when-

Gia- Husband! Look! Look! My gingerbread man is running away! Get him! Please! All my hard work will be gone! Take whoever you want with you, just get him!

Aditya - (startled because he was sleeping) Yes, Yes! G-Going right now o-only. Should I take the tractor?

Gia- No! You will get the gingerbread man in the next century! Go with the scooter again!

He takes the scooter and then goes on when he meets his children and niece and nephew.

Aditya- Hello children! Hello Sia and James! How are you? Did you see a gingerbread man while coming here? 

Sia- Oh yes!

James- Yes! And we ate it also! It was delicious, right Mary and Toby?

Mary- Yes Uncle! It was amazing! Why? Did you want it?

Toby- Look! Uncle has fainted! 

James- Let’s take him home! 

Narrator- They take him home in a rickshaw and when they reach home they put him on his bed and call their aunt. 

Toby- Aunty! 

Gia- Hello kids! How are you? Oh, tries my gods! What happened to David? 

Mary- We told him that we ate the running away gingerbread man and he fainted! 

James- Just to add, your gingerbread man was superb.

The others nod vigorously. 

Narrator- And then, Olivia faints on David! 

The children just stare at their aunt and uncle, not sure what to do.

(Blackout) 

Narrator- And with this, we come to the end of our Adaptation of the Gingerbread man!
