Taking A Stand Against Bullying

One lousy day for a blissful girl named Helen changed her life. After losing in P.E. against her best friend ‘Linda ‘in the first slot Helen felt ashamed and agitated to face Linda the whole day.

Helen declared to herself "Oh no I can’t believe I lost against Linda in Kho - Kho. It will be a day full of tragedy today. I am just ashamed and perplexed, how am I supposed to face her".

Linda exclaimed " listen Helen, are okay you were pretty off your game today during P.E.".

Helen unwillingly responded "Yes I feel fine. It's just I wasn’t in the mood ".

Linda proclaimed, "If so, I will leave you to peace and not ask any further questions ".

Helen took her bag from the staircase with her coupons ready to buy some appetizing samosas. Just then a group of nasty bullies appeared out of nowhere. They were known for bullying other people horribly. 

Carl suggested "Hey bro, what's up if you’re free why don’t we have a glimpse at this poor soul's bag to see what she has in there".

 Rodger responded enthusiastically" Sure what are we waiting for?"

 The dreadful bullies snatched Helen’s Bag from her hand rudely and annoyed her till she burst down to tears while the bullies took her supplies in front of her face and went back to class leaving her with an empty bag. Helen was devastated as her coupons were stolen before she could buy the Samosa. Now she was with an empty stomach for the next couple of hours. Later during recess ……….

Preston expressed "Hey Carl& Rodger who do we pick on next "?

Rodger uttered "Come on dude can’t you spot that miserable girl over there".

Preston And Carl implored "Which one?"

Rodger replied

;frustratingly" The one on the edge of the stairs".

The bullies bump into Linda instead of Helen by the stairs. The bullies are furious and give an earful to Linda with a smirk.

Preston responded to this accident by "Hey you you careless fellow can't see we’re waking by and you’re coming in our way I ‘ll show you ".

Carl advised" Stop it, Preston! Don't let our nerves get over you and you turn her in fits of perplexed nerves."

Rodger affirmed "Yeah let's be a bit easy on her as it isn’t that she has anything."

 The bullies do verbal bullying by saying swear words as well. Linda starts weeping and walks away sadly. The next day they have guest speaker session on Bullying

Caroline taught "Bullying is to seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce. We can stop it by spreading awareness, not bullying back, stand up for yourselves, act strong & be strong and most importantly inform trusted adults. You can create a squad which will prevent bullying".

 

Helen and Linda Tell their teacher about the bullying happening with them….

Teacher: Helen, Linda listen carefully, you are getting bullied so the next time they try and pick on you you will have a squad who can help you stand up for yourselves, you’ll know what to do so why do you fear now. Try your best to do so if any more queries feel free to tell me.

 The bullies struck again the very next day Linda and Helen were ready to take a stand. The bullies were taken back by their unity.

 Violence only gives way to greater evil. It takes greater heroism to be non - violent than violent. Be kind, be united, keep inclusion and peace.
