Summary On The Book George's Marvelous Medicine

Roald Dahl George's Marvelous Medicine was published in two thousand and 7. This story takes place in George's home. This story is written in the third person, from George's perspective. There seem to be four main characters in the story. Mr. Kranky is George's father, and Mrs. Kranky is George's mother. George is a nice, clever little boy, and his grandma is an unthankful, crazy, lazy lady. Because his mother and father have gone to the village, George is alone with his grandmother. Grandma is taking advantage of George. The fact that she has George at home with her. Then Grandma does a series of things to irritate him. Then George sat at the table, making plans for his revenge attacks. He developed "The Marvelous Plan." He dropped out of his grandmother's medicine. He aims to create medicine. He received a massive two-handled pot. He went all around the house collecting anything liquid as well as dropping it into the pot.

The Marvelous Medicine has been completed. He hands it over to Grandmother. She flies through the air. Her stomach then catches fire. She then continues to expand until she reaches the roof. Then his mom and dad arrive. His dad is surprised. His dad asks who did this. George said he did but his dad didn’t believe him. So he gave some of it to a pig to prove it. After George demonstrated how the medicine works, his father requested that he give it to all the animals. George's father wants him to start making this same medicine at the end of the story, but George has forgotten how to. His father tells him to attempt to recollect how much he placed in it. George remembered it and informed his father. Mr. Kranky drives to a village in his car. George prepares the medicine when his father returns. He gave it to an animal but this time the animal shrank. So they went and bought a cran to give to Grandma. Then she shrank when they gave it to her. This novel only gave me a few emotions. I was really surprised when Grandma went through the roof. This book is funny, so I could relate to it. Summarizing this novel was humorous and it was great. I liked the events in this book, so I enjoyed it. Because it's funny, I'd recommend it to a friend.
