Short Hard Work

I never thought of earning money and fame when I used to scroll Instagram posts, facebook stories and wasting time on other social platforms but thanks to SSC exams in which I am appearing and become like other friends of my squad. I love them and they me but I feel myself isolated when the topic turns to our future careers.

I am happy in my life and don’t feel necessity of earning money because it requires huge hard work. My friends are already working as part-time employee and they feel independent. So, somehow or other, I feel segregated.

This is the day to show my potential. I will clear my exam first and acquire a best post in a government office. When I will be announced as selected, I would give a big treat to my friends to get cynosure.

How lovely the dream is!

Now, let’s write the paper. I completed it and returned back happily, preparing for the party. The result was going to announce after two weeks. So, I had less time to prepare.

Finally, day arrived. My parents and friends all surrounding me staring at the laptop screen. Some were praying others believing my confidence but it’s me only who knew everything will go positive. I have given my whole week to study discarding my dear Instagram.

I must say how lovely it was going to happen. Screen uncovered its secrets and result popped on the screen showing me failed. This was ridiculous, unbelievable.

I must complain, check out my result once again. Everything went to vain. My party, my celebrations… no, it can’t happen.

But surrounding people show pity on me and asked me to get up with new beginning. I knew all they were showering sympathy. I need my best friend now.

As like always, she was sitting nearby me and ready to counsel as like friend. She was amazing. She neither counterfeit me from my happiness nor showed sympathy but tried to rectify my mistakes.

I was trying to do a year’s hard work in a week with no determination, hard work. 

From that day, I realized that I should work hard to gave something not only to earn money but also to reach at the highest peak.
