Roshan was dumped by his father in his childhood thanks to his stepmother. He had lost his biological mother when he was six months old. His father married another woman and considered Roshan as a bad omen that led to their separation. Poor Roshan found a home in a poor farmer's house. Despite being harassed by extreme poverty the generous farmer raised Roshan. Unfortunately, he died of cardiac arrest when Roshan was 12 years old. Roshan's dream to be an engineer got sabotaged as he had to work to live. He stopped going to school as he couldn't afford the school fees. No one neither had the patience or generosity to help the poor kid. He used to wash cars in the beginning. He had to endure verbal hurts bestowed upon him by the car owners. Somehow with the money he made over the years, he set up a garage. Had his father abstained from dumping him, he would have been in a royal family perhaps with a good job at hand. But fate had other ideas for him. He had grown into a 21-year- old man.

A rich businessman Ranjan had just built a mansion and moved there with his family. His daughter Prerana was more interested in her looks than studies. She would minimum spend five hours in front of a mirror per day. His son Rahul despised poor people. In his perspective, poor people were beggars who were a burden on this earth. His wife Tamina constantly nagged her husband to plan for a trip. Ranjan nodded his head and planned a trip to Mysore. BMW car invited them with open arms. They all slipped into the luxurious car excited at the prospect of being to Mysore. Prerana pulled out her make-up kit and set about beautifying her face. Throughout the journey, Rahul berated poor people who were running shops along with the aide of the roads. His mother and father nodded their heads as they were mere puppets in their son's hand.

A beggar wobbled while crossing the road. He came in contact with the BMW car. Anger penetrated through the body of Rahul. He climbed out of the car and rushed towards the beggar. He scanned his body from top to bottom. The foul smell emanating from the beggar's body immediately assaulted his nostrils. He lost his temper and stomped at the beggar unleashing his renewed anger.

"You street coward! Look at your pathetic body which is begging for death," he fumed. Do you know the cost of this BMC car? How dare you come in our path? Your rotten carcass doesn't deserve to come in contact with my expensive car."

Prerana looked unfazed by what was materializing outside. She continued to smile at the mirror which reflected her smiley face. Ranjan and Tamina remained mum acknowledging their son's argument. The poor beggar left the place without uttering a word. Rahul brushed the sole of his shoe over blades of grass.

"What are you doing, Rahul?" Tamina asked.

"My sole of the shoe kissed beggar's rotten body. I am punishing it, " he climbed into the car and snuggled over a cosy seat letting out a deep breath.

Clouds weaved together to hide the sun beneath their cloak. Rasping sounds of thunderstorm forecasted heavy rain. The howling sound of dogs colluded with the rumbling sounds of thunderstorms to create an eerie atmosphere. Tree leaves fluttered all over the place after being whipped by the ominous wind. It seemed as if the darkness had taken control over the city of Mysore. Roshan glanced at the sky which seemed to send a message to close his garage for the day. Rain began lashing the city of Mysore mercilessly. Raindrops peppered the front car windshield ceaselessly making it difficult for the driver to drive the car. Windshield wipers were assigned the task to mop the windshield rendering the driver some visibility to propel forward.

"If I had the powers, I would have coerced the rain to go away, " Rahul fumed.
