It was a hot sunny day, It was difficult for me to withstand the warmth of the sun. I was wearing a short skirt and high heels and I was on my way to market.

I got a call: "Manaswi, please get 2 kg potatoes and one kg onion". That's what she spoke and hung up.

She always remembers things at the last moment. I was almost done with the items mentioned in the list. Now I have to go back to get these.

Aah, it's so humid. I walked back to the market, got those things and was waiting for the cab. The cab was at the opposite side of the road.

I was crossing the road and suddenly I slipped because of my high heels and fell in front of a moving bike. A muscular guy with great muscles, wearing a black jacket with gloves and helmet, approached to help me.

When he held my hand, I felt something strange. I felt as his hands had touched mine before. He helped me and I got into the cab. I had a glance through his eyes, the dark brown eyes, so deep that I felt it had something to say.

His eyes and the touch of his hands left me with a strange feeling I never had experienced.

Well, I reached home and everything was back to normal.

After few days, I saw him from my balcony near my house in a medical store. I guess, he would have come to get medicines.

I went down, but he vanished. I asked the store keeper he said he didn't notice him particularly but the last person who came had been here to get some medicine which were not available with them.

I tried looking around but he was nowhere.

After few days, I heard a knock at my house door.

When I went and opened the door, he was standing at my door.

Are you alright? He asked.

Yes, I am fine, I answered gently. What are you doing here? I asked impatiently.

He said, I came here to see you. I asked him how did he know where I stayed?

He said, he had been here before.

Before I could ask him anything, he offered me a bunch of flowers which had a sorry card.

May be he was thinking that I fell down because of him the other day.

I accepted the flowers and he left.

He had his phone number mentioned on the card with the bunch of beautiful flowers.

I was thinking whether to call him or not..
