Patriarchy: Oh My God

Patriarchy is the father in law who feels his daughter in law is his servant who does all the work and gives her salary to him. The father in law who in the name of respect expect a her to agree to all his unacceptable demands with the son supporting him in the background.

Patriarchy is the husband who a lover boy before marriage changes colours to become the " big boss". Patriarchy is the strange behaviour of the husband who suddenly becomes a loving member of the family and the wife becomes an outsider trying to be a part of that family.

Patriarchy is the husband who is no longer available as a friend but as a harsh critic and fault finder who takes his independent decisions without consulting his wife and also takes decisions for her as a mark of love.

Patriarchy is the wife submitting her desires and ambitions and wishing for her husband's growth and happiness as a mark of her love and respect for him.Patriarchy is the husband treating his wife as his property and get earned wealth as his assets. 

Patriarchy is a controlling husband who interferes in all the areas of his wife's life and tries to take all decisions on her behalf

Patriarchy is the husband who separates his wife from his children in his attempts to be the most important person of the family. The father who gives chocolates to the child who says that papa acche his mummy nahi and who hates the child who does not say this.

Patriarchy is the father who fills poison in his wife's mind against the child he hates so as to weaken the bond between the two. 

Patriarchy is the father who promotes his loved child and demotes the child he hates.

Patriarchy is the loss in confidence of the hated child with more misunderstandings then ever with the mother then love. Patriarchy is the punishment awarded to the hated child by the father in place of blessings.

Patriarchy is not one word.....It's a mental weakness that slowly poisons the life and destroys it.
