Murder: The Case Of Mystery

Dhivya is an employee of CG Techs in Prakasham district in Vijayawada. While she was in the Vijaywada Railway Station to go to her house, she gets murdered by a mysterious guy. The case becomes sensational and widespread all over India due to the brutality and vulgar nature in the murder. The state government of Andhra is forced to investigate the case by the Central board.

To investigate the case, the Andhra's Chief Minister appoints ACP Sai Adhithya to investigate the case officially. However, Sai's father Jagan Naidu asks him to withdraw the case fearing for his son's safety. But, Sai's fiancée Nisha Sri supports him and asks to move on with the case further.

Sai decides to check on the CCTV camera of Vijayawada railway station. He realizes that the murderer has slit Dhivya's mouth and had escaped from the place with a furious and aggressive walk. He further analyzes that the weapon that was used by the criminal is made in Karnataka, and hence it had brutally cut Dhivya's mouth.

Sai also observes Dhivya's father standing casually at seeing her body. Since Dhivya's father is a highly influential man in society, Sai is unable to investigate him. However, he manages to get his family background. But, before Sai could bring on the murderer, he is suspended by his superiors for no reason and his family is also killed by his rivalries after knowing about his suspension. Later, a man named Shiva Ram Naidu is fabricated as Dhivya's murderer and is also killed mysteriously. The State government too closes the case.

Sai feels bad for an innocent man's death and feeling angered and guilty, he assures Shiva's father Raju Naidu that one day, justice will prevail. Four years later, Shiva's father Raju again reopens the case in the Supreme Court of Delhi and the Central Government also assures permission to resolve the case.

This time, the Central Police is asked by the Union Government to appoint a special police officer DCP Aravinth to resolve the case citing his intelligence in the crime-solving.

Sai Adhithya is asked to assist Aravinth in the case. The case details are also given to Aravinth. Sai is asked to bring the police officers who interrogated Shiva in the prison. Aravinth interrogates about Shiva's death by asking them individually. They answered him with different stories which make him confirm that Shiva has been murdered by the Police officers.

Later, Aravinth investigates Dhivya's father after getting prior permission from the Central Government. Dhivya's father refuses to acknowledge the case.

Later, Aravinth meets with an accident and he is told to be paralyzed. He goes to Dhivya's home to investigate her father. After an emotional discussion, Dhivya's father tells about his involvement in the case.

Dhivya's father Rajanayagam is a rich businessman in Andhra Pradesh. He had two wives: Deivanai and Brindha. Dhivya was born to his second wife. She is a soft and intelligent girl and she is always humiliated and ill-treated by her step-mother and her step-sisters. Dhivya successfully graduates from Osmania University and joined IT company in Vijayawada. Dhivya had fallen in love with a man of another caste named Chandru in her IT company and this was opposed by her father.

However, she does not respond to his words. She continuously spoke with Chandru and had decided to marry him. Rajanayagam is forced by his family to kill Dhivya to save their reputation in society.

Hence, Rajanayagam meets Chandru, who is going to meet Dhivya and asks him to kill his daughter if he wants to survive and offers him one crore. Being moved with the money, Chandru meets Dhivya in the Railway Station, where Dhivya learns Chandru's betrayal and an argument erupts between them.

Chandru slaps Dhivya and slits her mouth severely with his knife and she dies due to blood loss. After learning this, Aravinth assures Rajanayagam that he will not tell the truth to the public.

However, the news comes live with the video and Rajanayagam is issued an arrest warrant. Aravinth now tells his entire plan to Rajanayagam.

The day after Aravinth had met Rajanayagam, he had asked Sai Adhithya to watch Rajanayagam's moves closely. It was he who had recorded the video of Rajanayagam's confession. Aravinth realized that Raja cannot be beaten easily and had hence realized his weakness for emotions and had hence, attacked him emotionally and thus, he confessed the truth.

Aravinth also knows that the accident was caused by Rajanayagam's henchman to kill him. Sai Adhithya arrests Rajanayagam and he is given an immediate death sentence. When Aravinth is asked by the media about this case, he tells them about the importance of humanity and the problems of honour killings. He further tells them that, until the influence of rich and powerful persons stops in every case, justice cannot prevail and the case becomes a mystery for the common peoples. Aravinth further mentions that people have their own freedom to take their independent decisions in their everyday life and tells the media that it is their responsibility to stop corruption and honour killings.

Later, Aravinth gets transferred to Odisha for investigating another closed case while Sai Adhithya is promoted as DCP and is transferred to Mumbai.
