Mommy Loves Me

My mummy loved me more than any mother can ever love her child. She supports me in all my dreams and aspirations. She is the one who inspires me to live life kingsize. My love for the good things of life comes from her. I was totally fascinated by her all my life. I just wished to be the Apple of her eyes. I could do anything to impress her and to make her proud. She has always been my best friend and confidante. 

The beautiful life in all its beauty revolving around her. Life changes and so did the circumstances. My dad always showed resentment towards me. For some reason, he did not like me. He favored my younger sister over me. He would say that I could not be trusted. She did not listen to him though. She has a mind of her own always.

Things however changed when he passed away. All that he used to say suddenly became more important than anything else in this world. Mom gradually started looking at me through his eyes. And henceforth I was never the lovable child. And I was doing everything on this earth that was wrong. 

I started fighting with her in vain. How I wished she would love me the way she used to. I failed every time but I fought every time for the lost love. But this only made things worse. I gradually after decades realized that it was better to accept her love in the way it was. I realized she was more disturbed and stressed than I could imagine and to expect from her was not the right thing. Instead what was required was to love her the way she loved me all my life without any ifs and buts.

Be a giver in love to live a truthful life.
