Making Melodies

Bella thought to have a break from cooking and spend the time with her daughter Tara. She asked Tara, do you want to do something fun today?" Tara nodded in affirmation. Bella called their favourite restaurant and placed her order. By the time the food arrived, mother daughter duo cleaned up the house and watched Peppa pig show. They enjoyed the sumptuous lunch as well as sat for a few jigsaw puzzle rounds.

The acoustic silence of their home was broken by loud thunder and lightening. It began to rain, the water droplets tumbled down the window panes and continued to tap on the window as if inviting them. Bella got up, opened the door and walked outside, a surprised Tara followed her mother. They danced, laughed and sang in the rain, Tara giggling, slipping, grabbing tight her mother's wrist all the while. For Bella the rain was a respite from the chaos which hounded her as a single mother, dissolving all her tensions for a while.
