Magical Lamp

One day, I was cleaning store room, suddenly I saw a beam of light coming out from the box. I opened and found a lamp in the box. I rushed towards my family to show that lamp. I said, "It should be a magical lamp that Aladdin found." But my elder brother refused and said, "There's no such thing now. But, if there's I would wish to become a monster." My younger sister, my mother and I said the same. Next day, at 8:00 am, my alarm rang. I stopped that. I woke up and said to myself, "The alarm clock is on that table which is very far from me and I know that I stopped that. Is my hand stretchable or made up of rubber? And ouch… what's this? Hairs on my leg and so big nails nonono….. Oh no. Mother is coming let me hide them."

Mother: Your uncle has come. Come meet them.

Me: Oh no. Now what should I do? Idea, Let me wear my long socks.

Me to Uncle: Greetings of the day, Uncle.

Uncle to me: Greetings of the day, Beta.

Uncle to Mother: Ok Bhabhiji, let me go. I will send my family tomorrow.

Mother and me to uncle: Ba Bye.

Me to mother: Mummy, uncle was saying what?

Mother to me: Beta, they are deciding to shift to our next house and he will send his family to show them.

Me to mother: Then mummy where we'll play and where you'll hang your washed clothes and where will you dry the papads?

Suddenly, my long nails started disturbing me. Then I got an Idea. I said to everyone, "We'll scare them."

Next day, uncle's family, one boy, one girl and their mother came. My younger sister was scaring that boy, I was scaring that girl and my mother was scaring aunty. Then I took that girl to a room. I stretched my hand and slapped that girl. She started shouting. And in other room her mother shouted, "What happened." My mother replied, "No, excitement. They are getting excited with their new house. Then my younger sister came and asked, "What happened, why you are shouting?" She said that I slapped her. But my sister questioned, "She is standing here. How can someone slap from distance? Is her hand made up of rubber? Then his brother came crying, "Help, Help. Someone painted my cheeks." I also got confused. Then after few minutes aunty came shouting. We all asked her that what happened. She said, "Your mother's neck is halfway through." We all screamed. The family went away. And really my mother was trying to join his neck with the body. My mother said that her neck fell in the bathroom. My sister said that she was not able see her reflection in mirror. And I also showed them my leg and my stretchable hand. We all realised that, that was the Magical Lamp and he fulfilled our wish of being monster. We all ran towards our home and rushed towards that lamp. Suddenly, a thought came in my mind. I told to everyone, "Mummy, sister, bhaiyya also made a wish to become a monster. But, where is he?" Then my sight fell on Jelly Cake. Everyone laughed. Did you wonder why we laughed? We laughed because bhaiyya became a Jelly monster. I brought that lamp and we all prayed that we'll become as we were. Next day we woke up and found ourselves in good physical shape.

Huh. So that's my story of Magical Lamp. After that incident I threw that lamp.
