Love Under Extremes

Based on prompt 20

There were no other passengers except her standing lonely on the platform. The clouds were fierce as the raging rains created the maximum disaster. She was stuck in between as she offboarded the train to mount the interlink train to reach her destination. 

She stood near the edge of the platform looking at the entrance of the station hoping that the train would arrive soon. The train tracks have long since vanished with the water surrounding her. The station was about to get washed away. She checked her watch from time to time but it was the same and there was none to rescue her. 

At some distance in the line, she sees something skimming across the water. It was heading towards her platform. It was the rescue evader with its lights on. She heard the throttle of the engines and the colouration left behind by it on the waters. 

A man with an athletic physique and a fair complexion let out his hands for her to step in. There was something magnetic in his eyes that made her heart flutter. She realised she was in love. He too had a sudden feeling that could not be explained when their eyes met. He held his hands on hers and expressed his love for her.
