Spy

Based on prompt 9

It was in the month of December when the winter was beginning Joe was assigned to be a spy by the agency. It was during the period of episonage where the agencies were busy spying each other on their developments. There was a mix of rain and snowfall. People were busy skating, skiing and drinking wine. 

The icebound steppe all around him had his footsteps engraved. A mistake that cannot happen. He moved like shadows without leaving any traces. His eyes were too focused and reflexes uniquely fast. The gripping cold made him slightly weaker in his profession. 

The two room houses lined the streets. The houses were made from locally strewn wood without any metal. The houses were closed due to the cold outside. Joe bugged all the houses in some time.
