It wasn’t that she couldn’t speak for herself that she stood still. She could articulate but certain feelings overwhelmed her that words weren’t heard outside. She feared that she might be branded a liar or she might lose trust of a few valuable people in the organization. She felt betrayed maybe by her own forces. She remembered the crackling laughter on the dinner table last night. Her own family called it a mere fantasy story so she had inhibitions about others.

She had a diamond shaped face and her eyebrows were a soft brow with a shallow arch. People told her it was the most flattering beauty in her. Her brown eyes showed more determination than any other emotion. She had a fair complexion and a well-built physique. Her name was Rosy, a English teacher at Montrose high school. She considered her job mundane but she needed it desperately to make her ends meet. She looked unenthusiastic and disengaged from what she was doing. This made other colleagues around her discouraged and they tried to keep away from her.

Removal of coffee machines at school further annoyed her. She lost the time for striking some random conversations, which sometimes luckily turned productive for her. Being self-contained in small cubicles that was not pretty well-lit made her feel dungeoned. The profession all the more became more of disappointment as there was minimal intellectual transitions off late. The working conditions were deteoriating as well.

John was an impulsive kid who frequently interrupted the class. He always found it hard to sit in the bench for a while and he would do things that are risky and dangerous for others. He was a concern for all his subject handlers. The teachers however were surprised with his intelligence as he was a prodigy and was promoted to high school at the age of six. Friends around him knew his superhuman capabilities.

Rosy observed it for the second time while correcting the answer copy of John. He had written the answer for author of the poem Daffodils as William Shakespeare instead of William Wordsworth. Last time in one of the tests he had written the answer for author of Julius Caesar as Emily Bronte instead of Shakespeare. Rosy knew that was a wrong answer but the textbooks and google showed up John’s answer. Rosy asked one of her colleagues to evaluate his paper but everything was fine. Julius Caesar was written by Shakespeare and yes that stood correct with her colleague. She felt embarrassed that day as she stood out like an alien.

The same situation repeated itself again and she had doubts,” Is John a reality warper?”. The thought made her jitter as she wondered what might happen if he was to write a physics or biology test. If gravitation never existed, earth would have been split apart or might explode. Imagine if blood flows in the body from toe to head instead of head to toe, or the rainfall staying still without reaching the ground. What if earth stops rotating?. She laughed at her own craziness but she couldn’t shrug them off. It was that she mentioned this thing yesterday during dinner time and the entire family laughed out heartily at her craziness. She knew something was mysterious with John.

It was all after consuming that green liquid in his almirah. It was when he was searching for his business board game in his almirah that he saw this black vial with a green liquid inside. Initially he hesitated and wanted to leave it aside where it was, but out of curiosity he opened it. The liquid was pungent and it gyrated his nose. The liquid slowly vaporised and he felt a bit unconscious for few minutes. It was then the miracle began, whatever he wrote on paper that happened. It took him sometime to understand that he became a reality warper..
