LOVE FOR LOVE
BY SANJAY Yadav
Once upon a time, there was a family who had lived in a village for many years. In the village, the family worked in agriculture to earn money. However, they struggled greatly for water, food, and basic facilities. Sometimes, they had to walk long distances to get drinking water, and sometimes they did not have enough food to eat. They had to search for food at different places or shops.
There were five members in the family: Raju, the father, who worked in agriculture; Rani, the mother, who was a housewife; Priya, the elder daughter, who worked in different houses to earn money; Preeti, the younger daughter, who was studying; and Ram, the elder son, who had already completed his studies.
One night, Raju was sitting silently on the floor. Rani came into the room with dinner in her hands and served the food on the floor for them to eat.
Rani: What happened, Raju? What are you thinking about?
Raju: I am thinking about how we are struggling for water, food, and basic facilities.
Rani: Yes, you are right, Raju. It is very difficult to live in this village. So, what have you decided, Raju?
Raju: I have decided that we should go somewhere outside the village.
Rani: But where?
Raju: Let’s go to Pune to find better jobs and have better facilities.
Rani: Yes, that’s a good idea.
Then all three children came downstairs for dinner and sat on the floor together.
Priya: What happened, Dad?
Preeti: Yes, why are both of you sad?
Ram: Is there any problem, Mom and Dad?
Raju: I want to tell you all something.
Ram: Yes, Dad. Tell us. What do you want to say?
Raju: Can we go to Pune to find some work? We are struggling in this village for basic things.
Ram: Dad, you are right.
Preeti: Yes, it is very difficult to live in this village.
Priya: Let’s go to Pune and begin a new journey.
After the conversation, all of them got ready to go to Pune. That night, they all went to sleep together on the floor for the last time in the village because they would leave for Pune the next morning.
The next morning, Raju woke up on the floor and went to the washroom to freshen up. Rani began preparing breakfast for everyone, while the children also woke up. After freshening up, Raju came and sat down for breakfast.
Rani: Breakfast is ready.
Raju: Bring the breakfast.
Rani: Today, we are going to leave the village and go to Pune.
Raju: Yes.
Rani: Priya, Preeti, and Ram, come quickly. Breakfast is ready.
Then all three children came downstairs for breakfast and sat together on the floor.
Preeti: Hello, Mom and Dad.
Priya: Good morning, Mom and Dad.
Ram: Bring the breakfast. I am hungry.
Rani: Here is your breakfast. Now, start eating.
Priya: But Dad, when are we going to Pune?
Raju: This evening. Please pack all your bags and belongings.
Ram: Okay, Dad.
After breakfast was finished, all of them began packing their bags and belongings to leave for Pune.
In the evening, everyone was ready with their bags.
Raju: Are all of you ready now?
Ram: Yes, Dad.
Rani: We will miss this village.
Preeti: Yes, Mom. We will always miss our village.
Then the whole family left the village and travelled to Pune by train. After three days of travelling, they finally reached Pune.
After arriving in Pune, all of them began searching for a house where they could settle and for jobs to earn money. However, they could not find a suitable house.
The next day, a man came to them. His name was Ravi.
Ravi: Hello! Is this your first time in Pune?
Raju: Yes. We have come to Pune to find a house and jobs.
Ravi: Have you found a house yet?
Raju: No. We have been trying to find a house, but we haven’t found one yet.
Ravi: Don’t worry. I have a house beside my own house. All of you can stay there and settle down.
Rani: Oh! Thank you so much for your help.
Ravi: It’s my pleasure. Come with me. I will show you the house.
After that, Ravi took the family with him to show them the house where they could settle.
Raju’s family and Ravi reached the house.
Ravi: This is the house.
Raju: It is a nice house.
Rani: How much is the rent for this house?
Ravi: There is no rent. All of you can stay in this house without paying any rent.
Rani: Okay. Thank you.
Ravi: Tonight, all of you come to my house for dinner.
Raju: Sure.
That night, Raju’s family went to Ravi’s house for dinner. Ravi had a daughter named Lakshmi. She was very beautiful and intelligent.
When Ram saw Lakshmi for the first time, he was deeply attracted to her. He could not take his eyes away from her.
Soon, dinner was served at the table. Ravi’s family and Raju’s family sat together and began eating dinner.
After they finished their meal, Raju’s family sat on the chairs and began talking with Ravi and his family. However, Ram remained quiet and kept looking at Lakshmi’s face. He was already beginning to fall deeply in love with her.
After some time, Raju’s family thanked Ravi and his family and left for their new house.
While they were walking home, Ram suddenly looked back and saw Lakshmi once again standing at the back of the house. For a moment, their eyes met.
Ram’s heart began beating faster.
That single moment made him realize that he had already become deeply connected to Lakshmi through love.
The next morning, Raju went out to search for a job. Suddenly, Ravi stopped him.
Ravi: Raju, wait!
Raju: What happened?
Ravi: Nothing. Where are you going?
Raju: I am going to search for a job.
Ravi: You don’t need to go anywhere.
Raju: Why?
Ravi: I have a job for you at my office.
Raju: Really?
Ravi: Yes. Let’s go together
Raju and Ravi went to the office together. Ravi spoke to the people there, and Raju was given a job at the office.
Meanwhile, Ram saw Lakshmi sitting quietly outside her house. He walked towards her and sat near her.
Ram: Hello!
Lakshmi: Hello.
Ram: How are you?
Lakshmi: I am fine. What about you?
Ram: I am also fine. You made dinner yesterday night.
Lakshmi: No, my mother made the dinner.
Ram: I want to say something.
Lakshmi: Yes, tell me.
Ram: You are very beautiful. I love you. Will you marry me?
Lakshmi: What?
Ram: I really like you very much. I have fallen in love with you.
Lakshmi rejected Ram’s proposal for love and marriage. Ram returned to his house very silently. From that day onward, he kept thinking about Lakshmi every day.
On the other hand, Lakshmi also began to realize that she had fallen in love with Ram.
One evening, Ram went to Ravi’s house for some work. When he entered the house, he saw Lakshmi sitting on a chair.
Lakshmi: Ram! What are you doing here?
Ram: I have come to your house for some work.
Lakshmi: Okay. But I also want to tell you something. I like you too, and I want to marry you. I am really sorry about what I said this morning.
Ram: Really? You love me?
Lakshmi: Yes! I love you, Ram.
Ram: I love you too.
Ram returned to his house with great happiness. He could not stop smiling after hearing those words from Lakshmi.
From the next morning onward, Ram and Lakshmi began spending more time together. They talked, walked together, and slowly discovered that their feelings for each other were becoming deeper every day.
One day, they went for a walk in a park. Suddenly, dark clouds gathered in the sky, and rain began to fall. They stood together beneath the rain, holding each other’s hands.
For the first time, they felt the depth of their love. They looked into each other’s eyes and came closer. In that beautiful moment, they shared their first kiss, holding each other’s hands tightly.
Later that night, they spent a deeply intimate and romantic night together, while the rain continued to fall outside.
The next morning, Lakshmi woke up, and Ram also woke up beside her.
Ram: What happened, Lakshmi?
Lakshmi: Nothing. I am thinking that I haven’t told my family that I truly love you and want to marry you.
Ram: Don’t worry, Lakshmi. We will tell our families later.
Lakshmi: I hope our families will accept our marriage.
Ram: They will accept our marriage.
Lakshmi: I love you so much, Ram. I cannot imagine my life without you.
Ram: I cannot imagine my life without you either, Lakshmi. I love you too.
Then Ram and Lakshmi went back toward their homes together. When they arrived, they suddenly saw both families standing outside.
Lakshmi: Why are you all standing outside like this?
Ravi: Lakshmi, don’t tell us a lie. We already know the truth.
Ram: What truth?
Raju: We know that both of you love each other and that you want to get married.
Lakshmi: How do you know?
Ravi: One of my friends saw both of you together in the park.
Lakshmi looked at her father and became emotional.
Lakshmi: Dad, I am really sorry. But I truly love Ram, and I cannot imagine my life without him.
Ram: I cannot imagine my life without Lakshmi either. We love each other.
Raju looked at Lakshmi and asked her sincerely.
Raju: Tell me honestly, Lakshmi. How much do you love my son?
Lakshmi: I truly love Ram, but I cannot even define how much I love him.
Raju looked at Ravi and smiled.
Raju: I think we should accept their love and their marriage.
Ravi: Yes, my friend. You are right.
Lakshmi looked at both fathers with happiness.
Lakshmi: Does that mean you both accept our marriage?
Ravi: Yes, dear.
Lakshmi: I love you, Dad!
Ravi: I love you too, dear. All I want is to see happiness on your face.
Ram and Lakshmi looked at each other with happiness. Their families accepted their love, and soon they were married with the blessings of both families.
After their marriage, Ram and Lakshmi began their new life together, surrounded by their families and filled with love and happiness.
Their journey, which had begun with a simple meeting, had finally become a beautiful journey of Love for Love.
