Love for Love: The Journey of Marriage

When Raju’s family and Ravi’s family accepted the marriage of Ram and Lakshmi, both families were very happy. After accepting the marriage, they began preparing for the wedding.

Everyone in both families started working together to make the marriage ceremony special. The families discussed the arrangements and made plans for the coming days.

First, they arranged sweets for the people who were invited to the wedding. The family members carefully prepared everything so that there would be enough sweets for all the guests.

Second, they arranged beautiful flowers for the temple where the marriage would take place. The flowers were prepared for decorating the temple and the place where Ram and Lakshmi would get married.
Third, they prepared invitations for people to attend the marriage ceremony at the temple. The family members began inviting relatives, friends, and other people who were close to them.
After completing all the preparations, Raju looked at his friend Ravi.

Raju: Ravi, my friend, all the arrangements are completed.

Ravi: Yes, all the arrangements are completed.

Raju: Good. Now everything is ready for Ram and Lakshmi’s marriage.

Both friends were happy because their children were going to begin a new chapter of their lives.
After that, Ram and Lakshmi also came there.

Ram: Hi, Dad.

Raju: My son!

Raju looked at Ram happily.

Lakshmi: Hello, everyone. How are you?

Raju: We are all fine. You both are going to get married now, so don’t forget us.

Lakshmi smiled.

Lakshmi: No, we will never forget you.

Raju: Good. God bless you both.

Ram and Lakshmi were happy to hear Raju’s words. They knew that their families were supporting their relationship and their future together.
Then Preeti and Priya came there.

Priya: Hello, everyone.

Raju: Hello. Where are you coming from?

Priya: We went for a walk somewhere.

Raju: Okay..

Everyone continued talking and preparing for the engagement.
Then all the arrangements were ready. Slowly, all the guests started arriving at the engagement ceremony. Relatives and friends gathered together, and the place became filled with happiness and excitement.
Both families were ready with the rings for the engagement.

Ram and Lakshmi stood together while everyone watched them. They took the rings and put them on each other’s fingers.
Everyone became very happy and celebrated their engagement. Their families congratulated them, and the atmosphere became joyful.

After completing the engagement ceremony, Ram and Lakshmi kissed each other. They were happy that their relationship had now moved one step closer to marriage.
Then both families asked the priest about the date and month of the marriage.

Ravi: Dear priest, what is the date and month of the marriage?

The priest looked at the calendar and gave them the date.

Priest: The date is the 28th, and the month is August.
Ravi: Okay.

Everyone was happy after learning the date of the marriage. The families now knew when Ram and Lakshmi would officially begin their married life.
After they learned the date and month of the marriage, all the guests went back to their homes after the engagement ceremony.

As time passed, the month of August arrived.
The wedding day finally came. Both families were ready for Ram and Lakshmi’s marriage. Everyone was excited because the day they had been preparing for had finally arrived.

In the evening, all the guests gathered at the temple for the wedding. Raju’s family, Ravi’s family, and the priest were present at the temple.
The temple was filled with family members and guests. Everyone was waiting to see Ram and Lakshmi begin their married life.

The marriage ceremony began, and Ram and Lakshmi sat together.
They looked at each other happily as the ceremony continued.
Ram placed a flower garland around Lakshmi’s neck, and Lakshmi placed a flower garland around Ram’s neck.

Their families watched the ceremony with happiness.
Then Ram and Lakshmi walked around the sacred fire together while the priest recited the wedding mantras. With every round, they moved closer to beginning their new life as husband and wife.
After completing the wedding ceremony, Ram and Lakshmi took blessings by touching the feet of Raju and Ravi.

Raju blessed them both.

Raju: God bless you both.

Ravi also blessed the newly married couple.

Ravi: God bless you. Always stay happy throughout your lives.

Ram and Lakshmi thanked their families for their blessings.
After the marriage ceremony, the guests and both families returned to their homes.
That night, Ram and Lakshmi spent their first night together as husband and wife.
They sat together on the bed and held each other’s hands. It was their first night after marriage, and they were happy to begin their new life together.

They talked quietly and shared their happiness about the future. They looked at each other with love and excitement as they realized that they were now husband and wife.
They stayed close to each other, holding hands as they began their first night together.
The next morning, Lakshmi woke up on the bed. Ram was still sleeping.

Lakshmi got up, brushed her teeth, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
After a few minutes, she came out of the bathroom. Ram was still sleeping on the bed.
Lakshmi went over to Ram and sat beside him.
Lakshmi: Ram, wake up. It’s nine o’clock. How much longer are you going to sleep?
Ram was still tired.

Ram: Please, Lakshmi. Let me sleep for a little while longer.

Lakshmi smiled because she knew he was tired after the wedding celebrations.

Lakshmi: I know you are tired. Please wake up.

Ram: Okay.

Ram woke up and sat on the bed.

Lakshmi looked at him happily.

Lakshmi: Good boy. Now go and freshen up.

Ram: Okay! I love you.

Lakshmi: I love you, my baby.

Ram smiled and got out of bed.

After that, Ram went to brush his teeth and freshen up in the bathroom. A few minutes later, he came out.
Ram: Lakshmi, I’ve finished brushing and freshening up. Please bring breakfast.

Lakshmi: Okay! Please sit at the table. I’m coming.

Ram: Okay.

Lakshmi went to prepare breakfast.

Soon, she came to the table with breakfast.

Lakshmi: Breakfast is ready.

Ram looked at the food happily.

Ram: Good. I am hungry.

Lakshmi sat near him.

Lakshmi: Ram, I want to ask you something.

Ram: Yes, please..

Lakshmi: What do you think? Should we live with our family, or should we settle in another house?
Ram thought about her question.

Ram: I have also been thinking about it, Lakshmi. But we can’t always live with our family. We should look for a new house and jobs of our own.
Lakshmi agreed with him.

Lakshmi: Yes. You are correct.

Ram looked at her.

Ram: Let’s talk with our family members.

Just then, Raju came down for breakfast and sat at the table.

Raju: Good morning, everyone. Dear, is breakfast ready?

Lakshmi: Yes, breakfast is already ready. Wait, I am bringing it now..

Raju: Please bring breakfast quickly. I am really hungry now.

Lakshmi brought the breakfast and placed it on the table.
Ram then looked at his father.

Ram: Dad, I want to talk to you about something.

Raju looked at his son.

Raju: Yes, please tell me.

Ram took a moment before explaining his decision.

Ram: Lakshmi and I have decided to buy a new house in Chennai and settle there.

Raju became quiet for a moment.

Raju: You mean both of you don’t want to live with us?
Ram immediately explained himself.

Ram: No, Dad. It’s not like that.

Lakshmi also spoke.

Lakshmi: Yes, Ram is right. We can’t stay in one place forever. One day, we want to buy a house of our own and settle down there for our children’s future.
Raju listened carefully to them.

Ram continued.

Ram: Dad, don’t worry. We will come and meet you during the holidays. Don’t you want your children to settle in a good place?

Raju looked at his son and understood that Ram was thinking about his future.

Raju: I want my children to settle in a good place and receive a good education. Yes, you are right. Go and enjoy your life.

Ram became emotional after hearing his father’s words..

Ram: I love you, Dad.

Raju smiled.

Raju: I love you too, dear. But, Lakshmi, what about your family? Will you inform your family members?
Lakshmi answered confidently.

Lakshmi: Don’t worry. I will inform them later. I know that my family members won’t say no.

Raju was satisfied with their decision. He understood that Ram and Lakshmi wanted to build their own home and future together..
After talking with their families, Ram and Lakshmi received permission to settle in Chennai and begin their new life together.

They were happy because they had the support and blessings of their families.
Ram and Lakshmi now looked forward to their future together.
Their journey of marriage had begun, and a new chapter of their life was waiting for them.
