Lockdown Day 11

Dear Diary,

Today is the 11th day of the countrywide lockdown and India's fight against COVID. Under the leadership of our primer minister, we Indians are giving a good fight to the deadly virus. With God's grace, India is still keeping the pandemic at bay even in the face of the challenges of a huge population and the burden on resources.

I am working from home since the lockdown period. It is a completely new experience. On the one hand we have to manage the household provisions which are running out as most of the shops are closed and online delivery apps are not providing service due to lockdown, on the other hand we have to keep ourselves in good humour not to get bogged down by the drudgery of the incarceration and the heart rending news of the pandemic's unrelenting spread till date. Their are many advisories from the government and from our own company also on how to keep ourselves busy and in a good physical and mental state by doing regular yoga, exercise, household chores, reading good books, watching good movies, catching up with our old friends on phone and taking up any hobby to learn something new.

Each day is a new challenge as well as a new hope that we will be free from the clutches of the pandemic one day. For this we need enormous courage, belief in ourselves and a lot of prayer from the depths of our heart. God is our saviour!
