Lockdown Day 23

Dear Diary,

Lockdown of twenty-one days has been extended for another nineteen days till third May '20. People at Story Mirror want us to continue writing our stories of incarceration for a further period of lockdown. Fight against Corona is in full swing. Ironically, this is one fight in which we have to do nothing and have to just hide from the enemy! This is like letting the enemy use all his energies in the now deserted battlefield and get bored to death after exhausting all his ammunition!

In the times to come, when we will talk about this one-sided battle to our grandkids, they may find it hilarious that such a scientifically advanced generation of the twenty-first century was so hapless in front of a minuscule virus. But this is the harsh reality today.

On the office front, while we are working from home, we had four video conferences today from morning till evening. We are having such conferences daily. On a lighter note, one of the two VCs will take its toll; if the first VC- Virus Corona spares us, the second VC- Video Conferences will drive us mad! However, the VCs are helping us in keeping in touch with all our channel partners and giving a sense that everything is normal with the world.

Hope the world returns to its earlier chaotic state, beaming with human activity at the earliest.
