"Is It Really A Friendship"

Mily was a young girl in grade 5. She loved her class to the moon and back. Whenever she would go in camps or trips her class would be with her. The best thing about her class was the love of her life. He saw and talked to her everyday. They both felt the same way about each other. They never showcased or told each other their feelings. One day Mily received a letter from her teacher that she had to focus on class more and stop worrying about unnecessary things. Miley took a long break from Robin. She walked past him and totally ignored him. They started passing chits. They would talk about how Miley was told to focus more. The chit passing got a name. They named it Chit-Chit. They said it was their very own thing and was limited to them only. Mily would walk home with Robin. She decided that she could pay attention and let her feelings for Robin flow at the same time. Mily's class had a special trip where she and a few of her buddies shared a tent. Robin was very far from her so during the night they would talk to each other. Robin and Mily always pretended to hate each other. Then there was again a long break Vacations. Robin thought Mily was too good him where on the other hand Mily thought they both were equal and just right for each other. Then finally came the last day of school. Robin and Mily sat under a tree and talked about all the beautiful memories they had made together this year. The talked about the time they had to run when their teacher caught them bunking and talking through the hallways. They thought of when they got caught passing chits and got caught cheating on tests. They cried on each other's shoulders and walked to their bus, they hugged each other goodbye and cried in the bus as well at home. They remembered each other so often that it began to hurt.

A year passed and now they weren't in the same class anymore they just ignored each other and went their own ways. When they passed down the hall, they just thought to themselves that what has happened and what changed.

6 months later they talked for the first time and their words were "I LOVE YOU" at the very same time and wondered to themselves was their bond really just a friendship even back then?

30 years passed and they both were happily swinging on the swing, hand in hand cherishing their memories and innocence back then.
