I MET U AT A COFFEE SHOP
Holding my backpack while walking to the bus I heard a message ringtone, I looked at my phone and sighed so loud that everyone on the bus probably looked at me.
Once again Liv had texted me about going to a new popular coffee shop.
"Liv seriously how many times have I told you" I texted Liv "Oh come on girl, their cappuccinos are to DIE FOR!" Liv texted me. I started to think maybe she was right
but it would be busy. "Alright Liv" I finally texted her.
The next day I went to my after-school job which was working at a supermarket and I hated it! My manager is so mean to me he says to get back to work even tho I am working!
Guh he's better off firing me if not I'll quit and find another job!
As I left work I remembered what Liv said, so I drove to the coffee shop and it was packed with cars I could hardly find a car park. As I walked in I almost walked out because there was a huge line of people waiting to order a simple coffee!
That's when I felt something drop, I looked down at my shoes to see a wallet.
I picked it up, turned around to give who's wallet it was, and then that's when I saw him.
"Uh i-is this yours?" I asked the guy "Oh, yes thank you miss?" The guy asked me while grabbing his wallet. I put my hands behind my back, "my name's Sophie" I responded.
"Beautiful name, I'm Luke," he
said while looking into my eyes. "That's a nice name," I said blushing. "Are you too gonna order or? Or are you gonna keep flirting?" Liv said. I was angry and embarrassed.
"W-what we were not flirting?" I nervously spoke.
"Heh, I saw the whole thing girl and you two love birds need a coffee" I looked at Luke and he looked at me, it was as if he knew I was going to look at him.
Liv made Luke and I sit together as if it was a date and have cappuccinos together. "Ugh, um" Luke mumbled then he simply sipped his cappuccino.
"I should go," I said wishing I didn't say that "Oh, well it was nice to meet you," Luke said still sitting down. As I ran out of the coffee shop I felt broken. I started to cry and I wiped my tears until I realised that the sky was crying too. I opened my car door until I suddenly felt no rain but I wasn't in the car yet. I looked up to see an umbrella over my head. "You know you should always bring an umbrella, just in case."
I smiled turning bright red.
"I would like to know you," Luke told me "Really, well me too," I said.
We gave each other our addresses and phone numbers, after I drove off and
called Liv about it. And that night I couldn't stop thinking about Luke.
Date? Become together? Have children?
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
