Genie In Her

Growing up as a girl, then teenager, and woman is not an easy task. Crossing hurdles of varieties and types are a part and parcel of ladies. To utter surprise, we are judged and sometimes mistreated by the male dominated society.

Do the laws of women empowerment not help us to sustain?

Yes it does but there is certain limitations, and the laws are rarely in application when it comes to practicality.

Poignant though, the critical issue of women protection laws are just for the sake of our constitution. Over the years, protests grew, bills were awaiting to be passed and when it passed, lawmakers seem to have forgotten to take control of the present circumstances.

When a rape happens, a child, or a woman has to wait for herself to be proved the victim. Most of the times, she has been seen deserted by her family or friends or relatives. What about the criminals who has ruined someone's life?

Aspiring to be a strong woman is simply a dream to come true. It will take more ten years.

Revealing the present situation of our country even becomes threatening sometimes as political parties are involved in suppressing the true story and evidences.

An imaginary society of evils ending is yet to come with the strong hold for thriving till our last breath in bringing changes in a woman's life. If punishment is held for too long, the victims or their close ones can bitterly punish the offenders.

We all have the genie in us. But in a woman it is too strong and motivating in order to have an influence so that the society accepts the way a woman wants to live freely.

Awakening the genie to stand strong and keep the law in order and take action against the wrongs can bring a major transformation to the society.
