Whip Of Luck

Marrying Ranjit Lakhiya was not a choice but a compulsion to Diva. Her so-called sweetheart Mohit had sold her to a pimp named Daga for just one lakh and left Will City forever. Daga who was the captain of vicious gangster Ranjit Lakhiya's flesh trade wing; was about to put her in flesh trade when Ranjit found something interesting in her. He immediately took her under his shelter and told her what her lover had done to her and what she was about to face.

The reality of sleeping with so many men every day brought shivers to her. Ranjit was fair to her; he gave her one of his best houses in Will City at the bank of legendary river Kali. He was not a very demanding man, just a few moments of intimacy once or twice a month. He was a busy man; he was so involved in his business that he had a little time for Diva. After seeing the atrocities which a normal call girl faces every day she felt she was lucky.

One rainy day after a casual lovemaking session; Ranjit proposed her to marry him. She had no option but to say yes. It was better to sleep just with a man instead of sleeping with so many men. The marriage took place in one of Ranjit's farmhouses inside the dreaded expansion of Kali valley. There were a few friends of Ranjit and his gang people.

Everything was going smoothly but one day Diva saw the true colour of Ranjit when he forcefully sent her to the Deputy Inspector General Of Will City Police. That poke pudding impotent big man shattered her vanity that day and made her feel like a whore. From that day onward Ranjit didn't sleep with her but she was occasionally sent to judges, bureaucrats, and police officials to sleep with them under the observation of Ranjit's key men.

By now she had realized that she was nothing but a very high profile call girl and Ranjit a very high-class pimp. She was not a prisoner in that big house but always under the watch of a number of Ranjit's people. She had no way to escape; her parents must have relinquished her long ago. She had no place to go, so she gave up and became a cold woman who can be used by the men anyway they wanted. But one thing was sure that due to her extraordinary beauty she was in demand, government officials to politicians, everyone wanted to spend a night with her. She was dying several deaths every day and was thrashing about to get rid of it all. One day she slit her wrist to take her own life but Ranjit's henchmen immediately took her to the hospital and saved her life. Ranjit came to visit her full of rage and warned her not to do it again.

A Casual Encounter

Dr. Sunil Rey was the in-charge of ICU, where Diva was given the initial treatment. He was a young gentleman in his early thirties, tall and attractive. During the three days stay of her in ICU; Sunil took care of her like a good professional. His tender touch was soothing for Diva, whenever he touched her burning forehead, his tender, and cold hand soothed her to the core. There was something in that young gentleman that no one could escape from, his charm; Diva was not an exception as well. She used to wait for him all day for his next visit. His visits were the cause of joy to Diva, she used to forget the harsh reality of her life for a few moments when he used to visit her.

But like other good things of her life, this casual happiness was also snatched from her and she was shifted to a private ward and there were other doctors to look after her. Now she was brooding about her future which was blank and void.

I'll not live like this; no one can snatch my right to take my own life. This time you saved me but you can never save me from my silk hanging noose. No more sleeping with degenerated men.

On the tenth day she was discharged, Ranjit was somewhere in Europe so his henchmen came to take her back to her apartment, her prison. But that very moment she had an unexpected visitor. Dr. Sunil came to pay her a visit with a yellow rose.

"Flower to the most beautiful lady." chirped Sunil while giving the flower to her.

She was surprised; no one has ever offered her a flower in ages. She took the flower and got lost in his blue eyes.

"Are you okay?" asked the doctor.

"I'm fine; thanks for the flower," said Diva, taking her eyes off his attractive face.

"Hope we'll not meet again in the ICU of this hospital."

"No, never; doctor.” (This time a morgue is the only place where people shall pay me a visit)

Call Of Life

Within one week life at Yellow Villa was normal. Ranjit paid her visit and ensured that he'll not send her to other men until she felt completely well. Guards were out there but careless as usual.

At ten in the night, she prepared a hanging noose with her silk saree and tied it to the ceiling fan. She brought a high stool to put the noose around her neck and jump. The preparation was almost complete when her cell phone bell rang.

She reluctantly took her phone and took the call from an unknown number.

"Madam, I had to go through a lot of trouble to obtain your phone number" someone said from the other end.

"Who are you? What do you want?" asked Diva.

"Doctor Sunil from Will City Medicare."

"What do you want?"

"Little chit-chat with my patient."

"I'm not interested..."

"Don't be so angry ma'am; I know what you went through in your life. But we don't need to lose hope we can start living again."

"I don't need any advice."

"I know, can you meet me tomorrow at the silty water lake?"

"No."

"You have a right to say no, but I'll wait for you all evening at the lake."

After Three Months

Her bulging heavy bag had rupees ten crores and the dirty looking taxi driver was taking her to Green Palm colony where Dr. Sunil lives and his apartment had been their love nest for the last three months. Sunil was the man of his words; he helped Diva to come out of her depression and soothed her in every way.

Things developed and finally, both of them came to a point that they need each other forever and they decided to flee from Will City, even from India as they were not safe anywhere in India from the clutches of Ranjit. It was decided that they shall flee to Mauritius, where they can mingle easily with Indian people forever. The main problem was money for the initial settlement in Mauritius. Sunil had money to flee to Mauritius but not enough to live there. Diva had a solution that she will steal some dirty money from Ranjit to settle in Mauritius. Sunil was reluctant but there was no way to start a new life.

Ranjit was a money snake, he cannot afford to lose a single penny. His money was always kept in Will City vaults, but sometimes to make a big deal he would take some money to Yellow House and gives it in the custody of his henchmen to finalize the deals. On such an occasion he took a bag full of money and gave that in the custody of his men. It was the chance which Diva was waiting for; she decided to take the money. She took her stolen gun out, which she stole from Ranjit a long ago. She thought for a while and put on Ranjit's bulletproof vest which he got made for himself from central America, and checked the chamber of her colt magnum revolver, which was one bullet short, but no problem there are only four men. She went straight to the room and knocked.

"What do you want madam?" asked the man who opened the door who perhaps had seen her on CCTV screen.

"Nothing," said Diva and shot the man.

There were three armed men but they underestimated Diva and got shot by the tender looking woman. She was surprised, how love has turned her into a killer. Now she had a bag full of money, she decided to go to Sunil's apartment where they could plan an escape. She tucked the gun in the belt of her jeans and ran outside dragging the bag.

She immediately called Sunil and told him that she had stolen enough money to elope from India.

"Come darling; I'm waiting for you," said Sunil in an alert manner.

She hired a cab to go to Sunil’s apartment.

On her way to Sunil's apartment, she looked at the cab driver who was carefully driving through the thick fog and was lost in his own world. Harmless man, she thought and opened the cash bag and took out two thousand notes' bundles from it and started stuffing them in the empty pockets of the bulletproof vest, which were meant to keep extra cartilages and hand grenades. She went on stuffing them until there was no room left.

Free Like Birds, Guilty Like Hell

She got rid of the cab at the front of Sunil's apartment which was dimly lit. She knocked on the door tenderly and waited.

Sunil opened the door, he was looking nervous.

"Are you sure, you were not followed by anyone?" he asked looking at the heavy bag.

"No; no one followed me."

"Thank God, is there all the money?" said he and took the bag from Diva's hand and opened it. When he saw the money his eyes sparkled.

"Yes, a little over ten crores."

"Astounding, let's get out of this blasted place. Wait; I'm going to collect our passports," said Sunil closing the bag.

"Okay..." said Diva. It was hard for her to believe that she was going to start a decent life with a gentleman. Perhaps she has found the true love of her life.

Sunil went inside and when he came back he had a powerful gun in his hand and he fired at Diva without any hesitation. Diva took the bullets on her chest and she fell on the floor half-conscious.

"Come out Meenu; this bloody whore wanted me to love her."

"Is she dead?" a female voice inquired.

"A single bullet from this gun can kill a lion; she was merely a two-bit hussy."

"Is there enough money to start our own hospital?"

"Yes my darling Doctor Meenu. Now we'll start a new hospital with this money and start a family."

"Can someone be such a fool; she cheated her husband to elope with a stranger?" asked the female voice.

"Love my darling; love... she thought I was in love with her. But I took her in my charm to make her steal money from her husband to elope with me out of India and this idiot woman did the same; now we are getting late, let's burn this house and get out of this city, her body will also turn into ashes with this house."

When Diva regained consciousness, things around her were burning. She ran towards the study and collected her passport. She came out of the burning house, people had started gathering around and she slipped through them. She hired a cab to the airport where she could get a flight to Delhi and from Delhi to any country where VISA was not required for the Indian inhabitants. She laughed at her luck, she loved twice and men cheated her. Now I have to run from this country Mr. Sunil, but don't worry I'll come back to settle the score with you.

Infuriated Pimp

"You deployed clay tigers to tame a hussy, she killed them like toys and ran away with a big amount. Booze and women have made you worthless, do you want me to fix you right now?" shouted Ranjit at Daga, looking at the dead goons.

"Someone must have helped her sir," replied Daga.

"It proves that you are totally useless and deserved to be the feed of silty water lake's fishes."

"I'm sorry sir."

"Your sorry won't do, no one can snatch anything from me. Call Bad Girl and deploy her to track down that two-bit hussy. I need her head, no matter what it takes but I want her killed like a beast.

"Sure sir, I contact Bad Girl; she'll track her and kill her," said Daga thinking about the dreaded killer woman.

"Do it immediately, that hussy Diva must die." retorted Ranjit with his clenched teeth.
