Chapter 1: The Creature

The newspaper headline read: “Mysterious death in Africa. Experts blame a creature” Having an expertise in archaeology and, biology, Jeremy rushed to board the flight of 10:15, packing oddments, in a motive to investigate. He landed in Cape Town and straightaway took a taxi to examine the site.

He arrived at the site by 1 pm. It was a ravine with a savoury stream flowing through it. He had heard about the myth of a creature that sucked people’s blood. The dead physiques were examined in the nearby genetics lab in the outskirts of Cape Town. And the reports said that all the blood has been sucked by making a hole in the neck.

Jeremy went to the locals in an interviewing aim. They named it Pan Chupacabra. “Well, we have heard the cases of El Chupacabra in Puerto Rico, USA but what is this Pan Chupacabra?” he asked to an elderly person. The elderly person replied, “Its a similar one. I’ve witnessed one of them.” He thanked the locals and left for Cape Town. After approximately 1 hour later he checked in his hotel to rest for the day.

The next morning, Jeremy went to the exact lab informed by the locals in order to examine the dead bodies. As expected, there were holes on the neck. He asked the scientist present there, “What possible creature has done such a horrible job?” The scientist replied, “It might be a dog because the population of the wild dogs have suddenly increased here. The “Pan Chupacabra” narrated by the locals can be a wild dog. You could meet a researcher, Dr Kelvin Hoffman. He will surely help you out as he is on the same trail as yours. He is lodging at his residence in Lagos, Nigeria. Jeremy flew to Lagos to meet the researcher.

Chapter 2: Gathering Information

Jeremy went to Dr Hoffman’s residence in Lagos, at once after landing. “So Dr Hoffman,” said Jeremy, “let’s get into abyss purpose of this rendezvous. Have you figured out what this Pan Chupacabra is?” “Basically, a Pan Chupacabra is a creature similar to the El Chupacabra as claimed by few. I am working with a team on the trail of that pompous creature. Would you like to be a part of the team? “answered and asked Dr Hoffman. “Are you asking! So, first things first, I want to see the city of Lagos.” told Jeremy.

After the tour of Lagos, Jeremy and Dr Hoffman went to the site where the first attacks proceeded. “Woohoo! Back into the Veld. So, this is the ravine where the dreadful attacks proceeded.” spoke Jeremy. They went to examine the site when a group of wild dogs charged forward at them. Dr Hoffman leaped on Jeremy and rolled to a corner and let the procession pass. “OMG! Those man-eating bloodhounds! I would have thrown them in the stream.” yelled Jeremy. Dr Hoffman calmed down Jeremy and they resumed their examination. “Hey Jeremy, look here, claw marks and a… disgusting thing. Animal dropping. I think it’s of a wild cat.” said Dr Kelvin.

“A wild cat, interesting. So, this means wild cats come here. Why shouldn’t we run out of this place? You know, I am frail towards the wild” said Jeremy.

Chapter 3: Is it an Alien?

To learn more on this creature Dr Hoffman and Jeremy flew to Seoul, South Korea. They visited the Soaam Genetics Lab. The met Dr Kuan Wangchuk there. “So, you’ve been flying to research about the creature. That’s impressive.” said Dr Wangchuk, “First of all, the given name ‘Chupacabra’ means goat sucker right? But here in the cases humans have been killed. Some locals also blame the astronomers and scientists to have communicated with aliens and got their bodily features. And therefore they have created the creature. This is said by some of the locals, not all. Secondly this creature is not showing leniency to any of the dead. It’s very dangerous. This saga shall end.” They all approved.

They wore a PPE kit to examine the cells of a Pan Chupacabra meat. A test was done and the results told that the animal had Pnemonocoinis, a serious infectious syndrome. It was probable that it had sucked the blood of the humans and as it sucked, the Pnemonocoinis microorganisms got into the blood of the humans. This was probably a cause to the deaths.

“So, maybe it is a serious disease, which caused the deaths. Now, we have to find where it has come from.” said Jeremy.

They studied the molecular representation of the creature’s skin. It consisted a bunch of chemicals but the most suspicious was silica dust.

“Where did this silica dust come from? It is emphatically produced.” said Dr Hoffman.

Chapter 4: Terrifying Silence

To explore more Dr Kevin and Jeremy travelled to Puerto Rico to visit an El Chupacabra den. As usual there was alarming silence. The den went deeper and deeper and deeper. But there not a single symbol of the relative of the world famous Pan Chupacabra.

“Doctor, it’s getting creepy. Do you know how to help one, if he faints?” joked Jeremy.

“I’m not sure!” yelled Dr Hoffman.

They suddenly noticed a spiky tail, moving. It was an ephemeral view. After watching such a visual, they did not have the courage to wanderlust in the site. They saw the El Chupacabra skin lying on the ground unearthed in the sludge. They got out of the cave and arrange tents to sleep. They also started a hellhole to keep warm. They had a small conversation followed by Jeremy’s extravaganza guitar and scrumdiddlyumptious soup.

At late night, they heard some bizarre wails.

Jeremy and Dr Hoffman inspected the area to search for any abnormal thing. Dr Hoffman called out, “Hey! Jeremy…… come here fast! There’s a goat lying dead.” “It was certainly slewed by the El Chupacabra.” said Jeremy. It was a close by encounter with the most perilous creature of Puerto Rico in the 1980’s.

Chapter 5: Found But a Baby

They were just going back to the city when a horrigust call as always spooky, stunned Dr Hoffman and Jeremy. They went straight to the forest where they saw an arroyo in which a baby “something” was crying. They identified it as the Pan Chupacabra! Of course abandoned by its mother. They approached the little creature.

Jeremy decided to grab it. It was not a piece of cake. He went ahead slowly and grabbed it. It was frenziedly wild as declared before. It would now and then try to bite Jeremy. “I’m not gonna’ leave you!” demanded Jeremy. It’s had a spiky tail, a dog-like face, limbs and white spots all over its body. It was very strong. “OK, OK. I’m leaving you!” shouted Jeremy. As soon as Jeremy placed it on the ground it ran with pace to bushes. They went back out of the forest.

In the flight from Puerto Rico to New York, they had a conversation:

Jeremy exclaimed, “I am not up to it again. I am going to my home and relaxing there on my crouch!” “Yup! I’ll certainly do that” said Dr Hoffman.
