They called me "Ghost Whisperer," exorcism after exorcism, I delved into the darkest corners of the spirit world, pulling lost souls from the clutches of evil.

I faced countless horrors, exorcised demons, and soothed restless spirits.

But the darkness began to seep into me, twisting my sanity. My victories against malevolent entities seemed hollow, an insidious darkness gnawed at me, whispering doubts and despair.

My reflection in the mirror seemed like a stranger consumed by shadows. I heard whispers in the dead of night, promises of oblivion, tempting warmth in the icy grip of dread. Shadows danced in the corners of my vision, voices taunting me from the depths. I talked to shadows and pleaded with unseen forces, but received only suffocating silence.

Days went by and then one fateful night.......

I had just returned, releasing a dark spirit from the body of a little boy. I needed a shower, so I locked the door latch of the bathroom attempting to take a hot shower.

While the water filled in the bathtub, I looked myself in the mirror, haunted eyes stared back at me. I had tried to keep Uncle Rudra's last words and carry the legacy, but the extreme stress had strained away every bit of strength from within me. I looked thin and slim, a skeleton structure. I had not visited my parents for long, the screams of the dark had left me in nights of insomnia.

I have not eaten well for long. I looked behind to see the water overflowing from the bathtub, I haunched to close the tap, but it did not work....I tried again...no, nothing....

I stared at the water overflowing the bathtub, suddenly the whispers came back, and wails, and groans, tormented me, I looked around to find the source, my ears were tortured in pain, trying to burst out, and my nose started to bleed, I found myself drawn to the bath tub, a chilling emptiness pulling me down, the whispers continued, the water swirling around me like a black whirlpool, the voice in my head a deafening chorus. The air was thick with a suffocating darkness. My hands, reaching out, grasped emptiness, my eyes jotting out, I could not cry for help a heaviness ceased my throat.

The final struggle, the victory or defeat!

Slowly, the whispers ceased, replaced by an unsettling silence. The mystery of my fate, another unsolved riddle in the tapestry of the unseen.
