Broken Bonds

There was a girl named Lilly who lived in Paris. She was an introvert. She never talked to anyone much. On her first day at college, she met a girl named Rachel. They both became friends that day. After some time a guy named max entered the class everyone seemed to be drooling over him. When she saw him she seemed to be curious to know why all the students liked him so much. She asked Rachel about it and she said that everyone liked him because he is handsome and really rich. She said," no one in his class ever seemed perfect for him". But for some reason, Lilly was curious to know about him.

Every day she tried to collect info about this guy. Eventually, she became his friend. They used to hang out a lot together. Slowly, Lilly started having feelings for Max. But before she knew it she fell in love with him. On the other hand, Max considered Lilly as a friend. But whenever he used to hang out with her he felt happy. Lilly had told Rachel that she was in love with Max, so she kept telling Lilly to tell him about it, but she was scared to be rejected.

One day she went to school hoping to confess that day. At lunch, she asked Max if he could come with her to talk privately. He was confused but he went with her.

"Max I have been wanting to tell you something, I hope you accept it".

She confessed her feeling to him, after telling him her feelings, Max said "I am really sorry Lilly, but I don't feel the same way, but I hoped we could still be friends".

Hearing that Lilly was heartbroken, how could he still want to be her friend. How could she face him again after this? So without uttering a word she ran away from there in tears.

She reached home and told her parents everything, they understood her situation and suggested for her to move away from Paris to New York. They told her to live with her brother who lived in NYC. She agreed to move away to NYC. She didn't tell anyone at school about this not even her bestie about it. She went to New York and lived with her brother for many years while accomplishing her dream to open a design Company, before long she became really famous and was known as a miracle queen, now.

She looked really different after 6 years and even more beautiful. She was 26 years old now. She had moved on from Max and fallen In love with a man named Jake. He loved her too. So they both had become a couple and now we're engaged to each other.

There was a fashion show coming up this week, she had to compete with none other than the Alexander company. Whose CEO is Max? Even Rachel worked at Max's company.

On the fashion show day, she was walking backstage and she bumped into someone. When she looked up to see who it was she was shocked, it was Rachel her old bestie.

She hugged her tightly, but Rachel could not recognize her cause she had really changed.

Lilly said"Do you remember me? I am Lilly. After hearing that she was her long lost friend, Rachel was so shocked and happy.

Rachel said "of course, I do how could I ever forget you" 

I missed you so much Lilly

I missed you too, Rachel

Where have you been all these years?

I opened my own company and am known as the miracle queen.

Wow, amazing, so you are competing with Max?

What! The CEO of Alexander company is Max?

Yeah, and you haven't told me why you left Paris uninformed. 

Then she explained everything that had happened, after hearing it Rachel was so sad that she had to go through all that.

Rachel said"It's his fault for not accepting you.

Lilly smiled and told her that she was engaged to Jake.

After the fashion show, max recognized that the miracle queen was Lilly. So he went to talk to her. He said that he was sorry that he rejected her and then later he realized that he loved Lilly too. But Lilly said "I am sorry but I don't love you anymore and I am engaged to the man of my dream and that Max had lost his chance. She said sorry and went away. Max understood his mistake and regretted rejecting her but he finally gave up on her...
