The Irremediable Mistake #2

At Lalisha's house 

"Mom what's so urgent that you called me here in middle of my meeting?" Lalisha said. Oh, dear there has been a lot happening and I know this is going to be a lot to take in for you, but your sister is missing!" replied her mum.

"What!!!" Lalisha yelled astounded. How could this happen mum, please tell me it's a joke, I already lost contact with Venesa and now even Rexini disappears?! This is just....

"I am sorry child, but it is the truth, and we must find her at all costs!" said her mum

Lalisha tries to investigate on the case and finds a locket lying in the garden where Rexini was last seen, she looks closer something about it seems familiar, but it just wasn't clicking to her, she left the locket on her desk and further investigated... Not to have gotten any good results she decided to consult the police but keeps the investigation a secret between only the police and Lalisha, even her family members don't know what she's up to all they could do was trust her.

Today was a pleasant day, but it was also one week since Rexini disappeared, I loved her more than anyone, now her disappearing along with Venesa... Wait, the the thought of Venesa reminds me I need to try to call her again.

*Dialing*

Lalisha: Hello?

Venesa: Hey girl 

Lalisha: What is wrong with you, why didn't you reply to my call since so long?!

Venesa: Chill girl! I was at my hometown, sorry to leave unannounced, the net here is too low to pick your call so that why I couldn't, otherwise why would I ignore my own bestie?

Lalisha: Your right, sorry just a bit stressed out here, I sure your having fun

Venesa: how can I be having fun here*mumbles*

Lalisha: What did you say, I couldn't quite hear you

Venesa: Oh nothing much but why are you stressed out?

Lalisha: I just don't know where to start, I was in my meeting with my boss and suddenly my mum called me and told me to rush home, then telling me that Rexini has been kidnapped!

Venesa: What! Rexini and Kidnapped! I love her just like my own sister, I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now!

Lalisha: Well, I am glad at least you are here.

Venesa: Remember, I am always gonna be here.

Lalisha: Thanks Venu! Now I gtg, Love you

Venesa: ily!

Just then Lalisha received a message from an unknown number saying that her sister would be traded for 50 Lakhs transfer in 2 hours starting now!

Lalisha was shocked, what a big amount it was, but she didn't have any choice because she wanted her sister back, she informed her parents as soon as she could!!!!

As soon as her parents were informed they immediately transferred 50 lakhs to Lalisha as soon as possible...But do you think Lalisha would just leave the matter as it was and just take her sister back without knowing who it was?

Of course, she had a plan as always, she was a extraordinarily prepared girl for all situations, so she hired some hackers, the time duration for transferring money was 1 minute, during the transaction she told them to hack into the account and find out who was operating that account...

The account was a from a shocking person, Lalisha couldn't believe her eyes, she refused to believe it though. It was Venesa's grandfathers account... Was there anyway that the one who kidnapped her sister was Venu? Or for some reason was it her grandpa? Lalisha was so confused, why would Venesa or her grandfather out of all people kidnap her?

Before concluding anything she had to confirm if it really was her, so she went in further research and found out that Venesa's mom was hospitalized, suddenly everything started making sense to her, now she remembered that the locket she found in the garden had belonged to Venesa!!!

So after she got her sister back, she asked her sister some questions but her sister was in a very poor condition as the poor girl was traumatized after the incident. But all she managed to know was the person who kidnapped her wasn't a old man it was some young as while giving her sister some food she saw the hands of the person and they definitely weren't of a old persons... Lalisha thanked her sister for the info, now it was confirmed, wasn't it?

Lalisha was so angry and sad that the only person she loved betrayed her too, she confronted Venesa, of course! And that was the end of the line of their friendship...So sad isn't it? How people betray us and leave us, it's just like how the wind blows...

Venesa was heartbroken she had no one to go to, her mum had recovered after the operation, but she couldn't bear to see her daughter so sad, years passed and Venesa lost herself even more and more....

Venesa's POV

I regret ever having betrayed her I could've just asked her for some money, but why? I was so stupid to do all that, everyday i regret everything I did in that day. This song was the only thing that connected me with her but now all is lost...

Venesa's mum was so devastated to see her daughter in such a bad situation, so she decided to contact Lalisha to meet her for once, when Lalisha saw her condition, she couldn't help but feel so sorry for her, she indeed deep in her heart still missed her friend so much... Venesa burst into tears when she saw Lalisha... Memories of each other filled their minds and they could help but hug...

Lalisha forgave her friend; indeed, Venesa wasn't some friend she could get easily or be replaced... Things got better day by day Venesa was back to her normal form... Things got even better when someone unexpected appeared at her door it was Edwin, he came back for Venesa, he said he realized that he loved her truly.... 

It's surprising for us all how Venesa's and Lalisha's lives changed in blink of the eye, just as that all of our lives keep changing, don't worry nothing is permanent, we all have failures and sadness but on the bright side that's what helps us to move forward, so always keep moving on with a happy smile...
