Hey, guys! I know it's been sooooooooooooo long since I wrote this series, so I thought of writing again.

Well, a short recap!

My academic year ended on March 30th, and we had a 2-month summer holiday! Well, I know I'm supposed to be happy and all, but I was really sad. I really like school and don't want holidays or vacations. The academic year started again on June 1st and is currently continuing.

All of my classes are amazing! Like, literally so many new teachers!

Only our 2 Language teachers are the same; the rest everyone has changed. On the first day itself, we met our new CE (Communicative English) sir! He is just amazing! Like, he's really cool and knows a lot of scientific stuff.

*Hindi classes*

Our class teacher is our Hindi ma'am, so yeah, like yeah.

Like, it's the last year's teacher, and we like her a lot! She's a really fun ma'am, but on the first day, she didn't come because of a fever. So when she came on the 3rd day, it was full of lectures. We were so disappointed. I mean, man, the first day with the class teacher and a lecture. Imagine how the whole year would be.

But as days passed by, the ma'am has returned to being our old favorite ma'am!

13/6/2023

We were studying our 2nd Hindi chapter titled "मेंढकी का ब्याह" (Mendaki ka vyah).

It's a stupid but really hilarious story about two frogs' marriage. Gosh, my friend and I were laughing so much throughout the whole lecture.

14/6/2023

My friend and I literally fooled another girl by telling her that we were sisters! Because our father's names are the same, and she was like, "What the hell!" I was literally laughing so much that my stomach started paining. But all our plans went chopat, when she took out our school handbooks and saw that our mom's name was totally different.

15/6/2023

Today, we had our House election! I was so excited! Man, I wanted to be a prefect but didn't. The thing is, I was selected as a prefect but gave it up to my friend because if I became a prefect this year, then I wouldn't be able to be vice-captain next year. So I gave it up. And we have the class leader election tomorrow 16/6/2023. I really hope I would get at least some votes!

*Malayalam classes*

I instantly regret being promoted to 8th standard. I mean, from the 8th, we have to write Q&A as the ma'am dictates it. I don't even know Malayalam, so the whole time I had to bend my neck to copy my partner's notes, and now it hurts like hell.

*Biology classes*

Again, one of the reasons I hate being promoted to 8th! We have sooooo much to write. Good God! Seriously, the ma'am is making us learn the whole textbook. It's like gobbling up the text!

*English classes*

English class is going damn slow. If it were our old teacher, we would already be up to chapter 3!

*Mathematics classes*

Same situation for math. The teacher is taking the chapter really slowly. The old sir used to take classes like a train! I mean, the teaching is good and all, but there are too many examples!

The biggest advantage is that she finishes the chapter very fast since a lot of exercises get cut off. Instead, we solve so many examples. She is a really good teacher and all, but she isn't really able to handle our class. There's too much noise, and she's too kind!

*Class teacher status*

Gosh, I was completely wrong. Our class teacher has totally changed. I mean, whenever we are with her, it's only lectures. She literally scolds so much now. I'm starting to feel so scared of her...

*Sports*

We've started our volleyball practice again, and we had extra practice this Saturday, 24/06/23. I really like the sport and want to improve. It's my favourite sport, and one more exciting news is that I got into the school march-past band. I'm assigned the drums, and we have to perform on July 5th to welcome some guests to some ceremony. I don't exactly know what it is.

*Friendship*

This year, 7A and 7B got mixed together as a class, but we still hang out like old times. But as time passes, I've become good friends with 7A peeps too! Our seats are changed according to our height, so I'm so far apart from my 2 best friends. I miss them so much!

The start of my academic year was amazing! I really like it! Looking forward to reading about your experiences!
