Another Fever - Day 23 Akbar Birbal in modern times

Once upon a time, there was a king called ‘Akbar’. In his palace he had a smart and his favourite was Birbal. One day there was a poor man who didn’t have any money with him. While Akbar and Birbal were playing Shatranj. The old man approached Akbar, Akbar asked him what happened.

The old man replied that he was really poor, and didn’t have any money to have any food. Akbar asked his securities to give the poor man some money. But the poor man said Akbar that he didn’t was any money for free and wanted to earn it. Akbar was impressed by the poor man dedication. He wanted to challenge Birbal and again check his smartness. Akbar challenged the poor man and Birbal to bring a person from the kingdom, who has fever but doesn’t have fever. Birbal was really confused after hearing this. Birbal asked the poor man to stay in his home for that night. When Birbal reached home, he saw that that poor man was alone. Birbal asked him why his family was not here. He said to Birbal that he was unmarried. But he had said that he had a fever of love on a girl named Meena.

When Birbal heard that, he once checked if the poor man had fever. The next day, when Birbal reached the palace, Akbar was surprised as he thought Birbal wouldn’t come as he didn’t know the answer. When Akbar asked Birbal if he knew the answer, Birbal replied it with a nod of the head. Akbar asked him what is the answer. Birbal called the same poor man into the palace. Akbar asked why did he call that man inside the palace. Birbal said that this person had the fever of love, and this is the answer.
