The Power of Smartness

Once upon a time, there was a king called Krishnadevaraya. In his palace he had a minister called Tenali. Tenali was really smart, loved on taking challenges and was very loyal to everyone and especially to the king.

One day King Krishnadevaraya’s brother came to the palace. His brother didn’t like the King at all, but the king Krishnadevaraya respected him a lot. So, one day what happened was that his brother challenged the king to a game of chossat. Last night, his brother had changed the chossats with another one that helps him win the game. So, it went as he planned, he won the game. At the starting of the game they both bet their thrones. So, Tenali interrupted asking if they could have a quiz to see who is the better king. They agreed as they thought they would win but they didn’t know how smart Tenali. The question was to fill a pot with a hole on 1 side with anything. So, when Tenali heard about it, he was really puzzled. But the next day when the answers were to be said. Tenali said that he knew the answer. He said that last night he filled the pot with melted candle.

They were really happy with his answer and said that King Krishnadevaraya’s kingdom will not be lost.
