An Encounter

I liked to live in soltitude spending my time alone in these forests. It was one such night when I decided to camp outside in the forests. I sat by the fire as the chicken got grilled in the simmering flames. As I gently poked the flesh with the spoon I heard footsteps from behind. The shadows threatened me snd I equipped the gun and turned back all of a sudden. 

“Ahh..”, she let out a scream and dropped the things in her hands and she got trampled and fell to the ground. My heart nearly jumped out of shock. I helped her to be back on foot. It was very embarrassing for me to act that way. “I did not mean to scare you. Just wanted to check whether you needed some company”, she chuckled. 

She pointed out at a camp few metres away in the downhill and said she was with them and saw the light here so thought she could join here. I allowed her to join me. She sat st the opposite side with her palms clasping the heat onto her cheeks. Her golden hair was draped onto the shoulders. It was our fast encounter where the love journey started.
