A tribute to Indian soldiers

'No father no mother to see them die.

No sister no brother to bid them goodbye.

No friend no sweetheart to hold their hand.

But only hope they meet in a happier land.'

When I had been to Jaisalmer I had also gone to the Loungewala border. Only a couple of meters away was Pakistan.

I asked my brother "Hey,can you pinch me ?"

As you know, he is an expert in such things and he left me with a bruise.

We visited the Tanotmata temple.

In the 1971 war, Pakistan had dropped many bombs but none of them busted.

(WOW!!!)

They are still kept in the temple.

There were many things Pakistan left in the 1971 war.

Enormous tanks were in display, I wanted to ask them a question but as they are not alive I couldn't ask them.

Well my question was"Mr. Tank, why do you have such a LONG nose like Pinocchio?Are you guys related or something?"

But Mr. Tank only stood there like a statue.

Ummm... I think Mr. Tank needs 'How to talk' lessons.

Then I figured out a very important thing

MR. TANK DOESN'T TALK!

Of course, all of this had put me in a very patriotic mood.

My mother got a little more excited and saw the movie 'Border' , which was about the 1971 war, the same night.
