It was a pleasant spring morning. Sakshi woke up at 4 am. It was a morning full of excitement and delight. She got as fast as she could. She packed her bags and helped her family and all went downstairs; outside then. She met her best friend Puja and her family. Sakshi's family had 6 members including her parents, younger brother and grandparents whereas Puja's family included her parents and her 2 years old brother. The car arrived. Here they started their wonderful journey. They were going for a 3-day trip for visiting Diu Island also known as the pearl of the Arabian sea. which was actually to celebrate the days after the exams are over. Sakshi and Puja along with their brothers sat on the last seat and played many games, some were online ones and some were offline ones. She also watched a mystery movie and had tasty snacks. They stopped at some hotels or restaurants to have their meals and use the washroom too. They reached at about midnight- 1 AM to be exact. The children were already sleeping but then woke up. The hotel room they booked was just near the seashore. The view was just perfect. A chilly breeze from the window was very soothing. The waves were bigger and appeared to be magnificent. To their astonishment, it was a full moon night. This added up to the glory of the night.

They took some pictures too. But the elders felt little strange when the driver did not come in the hotel, he just stayed in his car. Without thinking much on it, they went to sleep. It was the next day and they were again set for visiting new places. First, they went to the Diu Fort, which is a historical monument. It is a Portuguese fortification. They observed the architecture and the major attractions of it. Children took many photos and enjoyed. Then, they went to the best place in Diu, which was the Sea. They went into the water and had much fun. Sakshi and Puja were busy making sandcastles whereas their brothers main aim was to destroy them. The elders then booked tickets for some water-sports like Jet Ski, Water Ski, Parasailing, Speed boat and the most amusing one- Scuba Diving. Puja was pretty nervous to go for all these sports but Sakshi and her mother encouraged Puja to go for it and not give up because this is a very thrilling and satisfying experience. Puja agreed and went for sports with Sakshi. They took cool pictures and uploaded on their social media handles. After that, they were really exhausted and went to a restaurant nearby the Sea and their hotel too. They had a delicious Chinese platter along with mouth-watering sizzlers. They also took some food and juice for the driver to have as lunch. They went to rest in their respective hotel rooms. At the evening they went to Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple which is temple in the sea.

They got there soon and worshipped lord Shiva. The waves touched their feet and ankles which was really soothing. They could also see the beautiful sunset scenery. It was photos time again! They noticed that driver also did not come to this temple. They asked the driver about this. He told with a heavy heart that his mother took her last breath just few days back. He was totally broken from this incident. Everyone were shocked and they tried to console and solace the driver. Eventually, it was their dinner time. The parents wanted to relive their childhood memories. So, they went to a very popular Dhaba. They ordered a Punjabi Thali for which the Dhaba was so famous. Children's favourite was Paneer (Cottage Cheese), Chole ( and Lassi- a delicious drink made up of curd. After having this scrumptious meal of Indian delicacy, they just went to rest again. Sakshi's grandfather told them some stories which were of historical fiction and then they slept peacefully. Puja's mother also sang a melodious lullaby for her toddler brother. Finally, it was morning and the last day of their journey. They packed their bags again and left the hotel in the morning itself. Their journey back to Vadodara started. They were not excited as they were in the beginning rather, they were little sad.

They did not want to leave such a wonderful place but they had to. They wanted to divert their mind by playing games and they did so. To make their returning journey fun, they played an exciting game in which they had to speak a sentence turn by turn and build stories. Finally, the winner was children's team because they had many interesting ideas and tricks. They also did mind reading challenges in which the elders won because they were quite much experienced. On that way, there was a Bapu's Aashram. They worshipped in that temple and also had the lunch there because they were offered for that. The lunch was very simple and had traditional food. They sat on the long mat on the floor by folding their legs and ate with hands instead of fork or spoon or knife. The food was served on a banana leaf. The children were little uncomfortable in the starting but then enjoyed it. They spent about 1 hour at the temple. The most amazing thing was that there weren't any wash basins there whereas there were water streams for where they had to wash their hands and legs which was also a holy practice to become pure before entering the temple. After such a fulfilling and gratifying lunch, they wanted to have a refreshing drink. They went to a sugarcane juice stall just nearby the temple.

The person gave nine big glasses of sugarcane juice. Everyone just loved the juice and it really pacified them. They all were just lost in its flavours. Then, they came to the place where the car was parked. They noticed a thing which made them really stunned. The driver was caught by the police. The parents asked the police that why is the driver caught by them. The police replied that he is a smuggler and the most wanted criminal of Diu. They were completely taken aback. They just went back in time and thought about the lies which the driver had told and were really scared. They just thanked God that the driver did not do any harm to the families. Sakshi's mother was really very worried about the crimes and suddenly asked the police to show their ID-cards. The police got furious and replied, "You did not ask for a proper ID-Card and other details, to whom you should have asked and now you are asking us! They requested the police that he was their driver and now they want to return to Vadodara. They asked the police for help. The police said that they also have more duties and inspections to be done. They can't just drive to Vadodara for a family. They requested a lot but the police denied. Finally, they said that their family also includes four children and two senior citizens. After a lot of requests, the police agreed but also had a condition that the police inspectors would be changing at certain places and they would have to stay there for few minutes. They agreed on this condition. They sat on the police car and went. They also drank some tea in the evening at a stall where the police changed near Saurashtra region. Ultimately, they reached Vadodara safely and thanked the police team because without them the consequences could have been worse.

They could never forget this incident and from that day, they never booked cars without knowing about the driver. The most shocking revealed later was that the driver was just learning to drive from 2 years.
