A Teddy Of Lessons

‘Darling, look what I've got for you’ siad mom stepping inside Stephanie's room.

Everyone called the little girl Anie, as Stephanie was quite a big name.

Anie was lost in a picture book, turning the pages.

‘Yes mommy?’ she asked turning to her smiling mom.

Mom handed her a teddy bear.

It was brown and had a heard shape on its chest that read “Ted is always here for you”

Stephanie loved Ted the teddy bear, she cared for him, that when her mom called her for supper, she would just say ‘Just a minute” and come late.

Years passed, and Anie learned to use the mobile.

And was lost in it.

Ted waited for her in the toy box, but she never did come that day.

Her parents made her stop using the mobile for three days.

She cared for Ted like she had when she first got him.

He thought that she will be with him forever from now.

But he was wrong...

After those three days, she was lost on the mobile again.

Ted remembered his sweet old memories, how happy he was.

Her parents got worried about her mobile usage.

So they took away all the mobiles from her for a month.

She was upset.

One day she went to her toy box to take a look at her toys.

Alright, she thought and was about to return, when her eyes fell on Ted.

She took him up, and thought that he looked rather sad than the old Jolly Ted, they stared for a moment.

And then, it seemed that her and his thoughts were the same.

And from that day she took great care of Ted like she had when she was little.

Ted felt like a human in the heart.

A kind little human.
