A Quest for Reason

A Quest for Reason

Human beings are the most reasonable creatures of the world (excluding of course the creatures outside the planet earth)

They would do anything backed with a proper reason. According to them, everything in this world must happen for a reason.

Hell, you can't even sneeze or cough or fart on this planet without backing it with a proper reason.

Everything happens for a reason!

Every goddamn thing must happen for a reason!!

One hears that cursed sentence a million times in their whole life frame.

Sometimes they hear it from their parents, at times from their friends, other times it may be your mentors, and sometimes when you come of an age you hear that same cursed line from your own kinds (Blimey! What goes around, sure as hell comes around…), while most of the times you hear it from total strangers in some far off place out somewhere in a far off world. Wherever you go, that one godforsaken line shall find you there.

To hell with the living!

This one innocent line would not leave you even in your grave. And you might be lying somewhere buried underground trapped in your dead body to rot forever, and you might be asking to yourself: "What must be the reason behind my awful death??"

The reason for this… the reason for that… the reason for blah blah blaahh blaaah blaaah blaaah…bluuuhhh….. bleehhhh…..bllaaahhhh…bllaaaaahhhhhh….blaaahhhhh…Wherever you go; wherever you don't go; whatever, in the name of Merlin, you do; whatsoever in this godawful world you don't do; whomsoever you wish to meet; whomsoever you don't meet…

There is always one thing common in everything,

Ladies and Gentlemen! A big round of applause for, One and Only, everyone's favorite, the Oh-So-Common, the Ultimate… Yes! It is none other than 'The Reason.'

There must be a REASON behind everything in this so darn reasonably unreasonable world.

Agreed…

That there is a reason behind most of the things on our planet (I guess it is safe to assume it as our planet. Don't tell me that it's not ours, or I might ask you 'The Reason'), agreed.

But, there must be a reason behind everything??? Seriously???

I don't know dude.

May be we are putting a little too much of burden over the shoulders of that little guy known as 'Reason'.

I mean, look at his innocent face which is already too dull to reason with. How is he supposed to have a possible reason behind every time you cough or sneeze or fart?

I think we have already sucked out the reason out of his tormented soul, just for the sake of having a reason behind every reasonable and unreasonable thing.

Alas! We humans are too darn stubborn to reason with.We would go at any length to put a reason behind anything and everything under the sun and the moon in this material and physical world.

And if it so happens (and it happens quite a lot of times, or pretty much every time so to say) that we fail to find a reason behind something. We wouldn't accept that at all. We are so prideful and egoistical creatures that we would never accept the possibility of accepting something without a reason behind it. And we would just declare that, "Dude! There must be a reason behind it." And we would then put the ball in the bucket of time and excuse our guilty conscience by saying further that, "There must be a reason behind it. Although we may not know it at present, but I guess time would tell us."

And there you go. Now it is 'Time' to be blamed and come up with a reason.

And you, the oh-so-bitter-sweet and cruel creature of our loving nature, go on living happily ever after, after the incident. Because at the end of the day, you still get to maintain your fat ego. You get to keep your firm believe, in that cursed old line, 'Everything happen for a reason.'And never, for even a fraction of the smallest fraction of innocent time, you have to consider the possibility that, "Things could sometimes happen for no reason at all, for a change."

Sometimes they could leave you for no reason at all…

Sometimes they could be with you for no reason…

Sometimes you may laugh for no reason at all…

And there may be no reason at all when you cry sometimes…

Sometimes you might want to be with someone for no reason at all ….

Try to detach your pain from the reason, and the pain will be gone for good…

Why don't you learn to be happy sometimes, for no reason at all???

Maybe you don't need no darn reason to be happy at all, ever…

Let the reason be separated from your life, and you will get Nirvana…

And maybe then you would see that, we have been asking too much from that little guy named 'Reason', for no good reason…

But! Who cares about that miserable and godforsaken little guy 'Reason'!

Let's keep on living in our own awfully perfect ways.

And let's continue on our never-ending and soul stirring quest of finding 'Reason' behind every darn unreasonably reasonable thing. Even if it is not there.
