What does a woman want?

A life of peace and equality and

To live life on her own terms.

 

As soon as she is born in this world

Her role is dictated to her.

Her functions are manifold

But she does not resist or hold back from doing,

What lets her down is the force and coercion!

 

She desires to be herself

To do what she wants and the way she wants;

But she is looked upon as a puppet.

Her voice is silenced, her eyes are blinded

What remains is the mortal skeleton

Waiting to be devoured over!

 

Give her the chance to breathe and she will purify the air

Give her the will to do as she wants and she will fly;

Give the right to own and she will testify

Just give her the chance and she will justify!
