Rain Once Again

Rain

Rain, rain come again

I wish to see

And hug you again;

The scorching heat and the blistering sun

Make us weep and wipe again.

The creaking Mother earth gazing at the sky

Longing to see rain again;

But where are you?

The clouds come and go again,

The temperature soars and soars again

Mankind is left thirsty once again.

The longing to see droplets of rain

With heavy clouds and thunder

Makes us hope to see you again

Only if you could come and be our saviour again.
