Fast-paced life,

Life in a metro;

We live like automation,

Where the heart is unheard of,

The mind speaks and the body obeys,

Life in a metro;

The honking of vehicles has replaced the chirping of birds,

The smiles have vanished while trying to run after buses,

Still the individual is moving on with the hope of achieving his targets every day;

Money, power and empowerment have become the addictions of life,

Peace, serenity and the natural environment have been lost in oblivion.

The toxic air is killing us,

But we still love our life in metro.
