Caged in desires entangled,

Filled with lost hopes is the world!

Remnants occupy the land,

Hopeful souls get submerged in the sand!

Awaited is the ray of light,

That could make everything alright!

The wishing star up in the sky,

Gives strength to get up and fly!

A mythical fulfiller of wishes,

Removes all the blemishes!

The star leaving its dwelling,

Revives the hope splintering!

The lifeless body of dust and gas,

Fills the depressed soul with confidence!

An inanimate object,

Becomes living subject!
