The Selfish Human Race

From monkeys, humans have evolved 

Many changes this evolution has brought

 Looks changed, Habits changed, Lifestyle changed 

But dependency on resources of Earth remained the same 

Our ancestors wore, ate, enjoyed and lived nature 

We, used, exploited, polluted and destroyed nature 

Then, Earth felt blessed to have our ancestors 

Now, Earth feels cursed to have homo homosapiens 

We used Earth for our reasons 

Humans proved to be the most selfish creatures 

We snatched the habitats of Earth's children 

We destroyed the Earth's heaven 

We snatched the greenery of Earth 

We destroyed the pollution-free environment of Earth 

When Amazon burnt We showed our concern

Concern by posting videos and stories 

Showed fake tears for destroying glories 

Fake was our concern 

Because we ignore the fire's reason

 It was we, the humans 

Who acted like demons 

It is we, the humans 

Who destroyed it for our selfish reasons 

We destroyed the trees 

We released polluted gas by industries 

We cracked the ozone layer 

We melted the ice caps and glacier 

We are responsible for global warming 

We are responsible for climate changing 

We are responsible for disasters happening 

And it's we 'Cause of whom Earth's crying 

But we curse the climate for extreme heat 

We curse the ozone layer for incapable of protecting 

But did we ever think, 

What are we doing? 

We have made Earth a living hell 

We have destroyed it beyond repair. 

We show our fake concern

 But none of us try to reduce pollution. 

Why can't we faithfully love the mother Earth?

Why can't we give her what she deserves? 

Why can't we stop polluting the environment? 

Why can't we change this destruction's trend?

Why can't we stop destroying nature? 

Why can't we stop vanishing homes of dumb creatures?

 'Let us all make Earth full fledge 

Let us take a pledge 

Let us stop searching for life elsewhere 

and decide to make Earth humanely heaven!'
