VIBGYOR
VIBGYOR
I look up into the vast sky,
And exclaim in wild surprise;-
"Mom, the Rain Gods have just left,
But, open are their wardrobes kept!
The seven hues, all so vibrant,
Look fancier than all my dresses."
Mom lets out a loud laughter,
In amusement she does utter;
"My dear child, you must know,
They are the colours of a rainbow,
This phenomenon is a play
Of the sunlight and the rain .
She says they are VIBGYOR,
Always in order they queue;
Violet, indigo, blue and green,
Yellow, orange, red in spree.
I wish I were the vast sky,
To wear these hues bright!
Touching every heart,
With a limitless delight.
