By My Side
By My Side
I lived in a palace,
With so much of aplomb,
Living like a queen, being so callous,
I'm talking about my mother's womb.
Inside, it was peace,
World of fantasy with fairy and prairies,
I was taken care of, every sec,
With all the love, I was ready to take off.
Being the first one,
I was the ray of happiness of their sun;
They promised to love me, to stand beside me,
so that, a beautiful world I could see.
That motherly cradle,
For me, she was the only one reliable;
Those strong arms that made me feel secure,
Yes, they had the power to cure.
They saw me growing up,
They were so proud,
They trusted me, ofcourse, they were a dup!
Their failure now heard out loud.
Now I try to look back,
All the shards of my life,
Oh! I was suck a gack!
Busy fighting my own strife.
Enjoying other pleasures of my life,
I was blindfolded,
I was wrong,
Once again, into a person, I had to be moulded.
There's no replacement for my Mom;
No one can be my Dad,
She's just like a beautiful storm,
My father, the strongest man, I ever had.
Wish I could go back,
Live those memories forever,
Now, filling up the old crack,
Where I cam fit in 'NEVER'.
I'll have them whenever needed,
For eternity, I always pleaded;
Behind the curtains of love, I'll always hide,
I know, they'll always be by my side,
By my side!!
