Please don't Chip your woods so hard

While I sleep in the afternoon!

To that next door aunty

Who knocks my door, for the curry leaves

For your Sambhar at 3.00 pm,

Please do come early and don't disturb my sleep!

To my best friend for life

I know that you love me

But that's not the right time to share your love.

Don't call me in the afternoon

While I sleep.

To that icecream waala 

Who rings his melodious Bell in the afternoon.

Please don't come to my street hereafter.

I just wanna peaceful sleep.

To that fellow who owns a Royal Enfield bike

I know that you love that girl, 

Three doors away from me.

But your bike noise disturbs me often.

Don't cross this street for once in 5 minutes.

To that delivery boy of the books that I ordered

Please head to my home in the evening.

Don't pester me while I sleep.

To that crazy boy who can't live without music

I know that you have the costliest sound system

But that's not the right time to show off!

Give me some peace to sleep for a while.

I won't bother if you disturb me even at midnight.
