APJ's 2020 vs. Reality

APJ dreamt for a new India

Filled with new thoughts by 2020.

Soon closed his eyes

Not to take part in the tragedy that really happened!

He wished for the powerful youngsters

With young minds and new ideologies.

But happened to the stumbling drunkards

Above from heaven!

All he dreamt was a strong army

Bringing the nation's Pride to zenith glory.

Little did he know that army man 

Shot to blood on the nation's border!

He envisioned on building up science

Making technology serve to us.

Who knew that we would fight the

Very small virus, invisible to our eyes!

He dreamt of brave women

Who will build a secure nation. 

But Soon closed his eyes

Not to hear the Rape news of innocent women!

Equality was all he needed.

Peace was all he expected.

Unfortunately, terrorism is at its peak 

Still discrimination in caste and creed!

Developing India! Developing nation!

Building GDP! Building economy! 

Was all his dreams. Soon closed his eyes

Not to look at India being sold to private!
