The Moment

It all happened in a flash I doubt if the lightning would've traveled so fast 

In the time it took time to blink its eyes I opened my eyes to see her by my side. 

I first ran out of clues 

Then, I ran out of muse 

Her aura struck me to my core 

Ecstasy knocked on my heart's door. 

I realized that I didn't even realize 

That she just requited my smile! 

Something in me immediately died... 

Then another swiftly came alive. 

O sweet Divine!..did she just read my mind? 

She was about to say "Hi" Yes, I saw it in her eyes 

She doesn't seem like the shy type. 

I suddenly wished I'm the food she really likes. 

That was when moment Showed up from nowhere & reminded us we're still on Earth 

Where everybody's busy going somewhere 

The lights turned green, traffic cleared..she left! 

I didn't ask for Her name I doubt if my bulgy pupils remembered to screenshot her face 

Maybe it was a deliberate mistake 

Or just one of those many days 

That even time shows up too late.
